Jos Ruiz earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts and graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture with a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM). Jose is one of only three people in Massachusetts* who is board certified in fertility acupuncture by the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine, a certification requiring extensive knowledge of both Chinese and Western Medicine.

I have been relying on Jose for years to help speed my recovery when experiencing aches and pains. I sought out acupuncture a few months into trying to conceive to help with the stress of trying and fertility. TTC truly felt so isolating and the forgotten part of health care; no one really cares unless you have been trying for over a year, or are already pregnant. Jose was different. He really cares and is supportive, compassionate, and so knowledgeable in his field. On some of my tougher days (after starting my cycle) he was always there with reassurance and hope.

Jose really knows about the physiology of the female reproductive cycle and about fertility. For my particular case, he was very confidant telling me that I needed to see him twice a week and prescribed me Chinese herbs. I got pregnant 2 months after I started this regimen.
I do believe that the acupuncture + herbs along with the changes I made to my diet helped me to get pregnant. I highly recommend Jose.

My husband and I had been trying to conceive for a little over a year when we first met with Jose. We had been meeting with a fertility specialist, but after the suggestion of a colleague decided to add another more holistic approach. I approached acupuncture with an open mind understanding that it would not work over night. Jose came highly recommended and they were right!! He did an amazing job of answering every single one of my questions and easing my anxious mind through the conceiving process.
