Neighborhood Childcare Center is a nonprofit child development center offering a variety of creative age-appropriate experiences for personal growth, learning, and social development. We support each child in communicating his or her own ideas, desires and feelings while appreciating and respecting the qualities and differences of others.
Curriculum includes both monthly themed units and emergent curriculum. Staff are fully-qualified preschool teachers chosen for their emotional warmth, knowledge of child development, breath of curriculum and child-centered approach. The school is governed by a Board of Directors and includes a parent participation component.

Services
We are here to provide an environment that promotes a sense of self-esteem, confidence, resourcefulness and joy of discovery. We view children as people with needs unique to their age, size and experience. We respect their individuality and capacities. As a staff we talk on a daily basis about the needs and interests of the children.
Our teaching staff is dedicated to nurturing children as individuals and helping them learn to be loving, caring members of the classroom and the world around them. They strive to provide children with a developmentally appropriate, stimulating environment in which they can learn and grow to their fullest potential.
