At Auntie Wendi's Day Care, I provide a safe, fun, loving and learning environment for children. I accept children from kindergarten through 6th grade in the Santa Cruz area primarily from Happy Valley, DeLaveaga, Green Acres and Tierra Pacifica Schools. Attendance is limited so that I can provide each child with personal attention as if he or she were my own.

I am a State-Certified Day Care Provider and graduate of San Jose State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.

My name is Wendi. I am the owner and primary caregiver at Auntie Wendi's Day Care in Santa Cruz, California. I started an in-home day care to pursue my passion for teaching and guiding young children. After graduating from San Jose State University (degree in elementary education), I realized that instructing children in academics is important but is only one aspect of a child's critical development.
It is wonderfully reassuring to hear from our 7 year-old twins just how much they love Auntie Wendi and how much they look forward to their time in her after-school program. Given that our kids can be blunt in their honesty and are quick to see the flaw in any system, these feelings about the program and Auntie Wendi say a lot about the quality of care they receive.
