I loved this place. The service was great and even though it took long time to get the order, the order was fresh and delicious. Good portion sizes and great flavor. I suggest ordering ahead so you don't have to wait in the sun, but even with that I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch.

Ordering our food at the food truck was a headache we had to constantly repeat our order to the young man working the entire food truck himself & when we would ask questions he would just stare at us or respond so quietly we had to ask again. That is not a way to run a business.
Then the food. It is disgusting. Drove from Austin, tx to try this food truck and this is the worst rice dressing I have ever tasted from any establishment. I might need to note that I am from Louisiana. Our plates were piping hot but the food tasted old. The shrimp was gummy like it sat all day and the fries were not

Listen here children.... I've been sent by the Food Gods to deliver this message. IDK which Demi-God commissioned the Voodoo Catfish but it is heavenly! Now I'm very particular about my fish, oftentimes you find people undercook/fry and over season but THIS FISH RIGHT HERE is PERFECT. That catfish was clearly raised on a farm in the Mississippi Delta eating the finest of feed and listening to the blues! IT HAD FLAVOR and didn’t taste like Lind water!
Who knew catfish topped with seafood and sauce could actually remain crispy. We also ordered the chicken pasta and it was amazing…extremely flavorful

I am a Louisiana Native who has been in Austin TX since 2012. There are very few places here that have authentic Cajun food, (that taste good). I was ecstatic when I met Ms. Ellis and learned that she was also from Louisiana and prepared the food I grew up on. Her food is more than delicious, when I want lunch, dinner, dessert, I know who to call. If you have an event, party, small get together, or just want lunch or dinner order HurryBack.

We order on their website. We ordered a fried catfish basket, fried shrimp basket and a catfish poboy. The batter on the fried seafood was so salty that we could not eat the food. I don't know if they over-seasoned on that day but it was awful. I like to support local small businesses but that was extremely disappointing! We won't be going back.

Cajun comfort right around the corner! Absolutely going back again! The Swamp Potato is a must but be aware that they do run out fast.

This place absolutely hit the spot! I had been wanting some fried catfish for a while and finally got some of the best I've ever had! I got a dish called VooDoo Catfish. It came on a bed of dirty rice and topped with crawfish, shrimp and a "swamp sauce". Amazing flavor. You should definitely try this place out!

This motherfuckn food so got damn tasty!! I swear I'd slap all my ancestors just to be able to eat this food every day and not gain more weight!

But seriously, Chef Chenitha and her team are very professional. The food is flavored just right! She catered my bridal shower. We had blackened Cajun chicken pasta, house salad with this delectable dressing that she made from scratch!

I greatly reccomend HurryBack Catering. The owner is so professional and takes pride is creating delicious food for people. I've had her meals on multiple occasions. I love her Friday lunch specials. She will even deliver to you. My mouth is watering as I type, thinking about the pasta with broccoli and bread. Also, the swamp potatoes. What I really appreciate about HurryBack is they aren't stingy on the portion size. She's like your southern grandmother that wants to make sure you're eating. She sizes are very generous.

First of you will HURRYBACK cause you will not want to leave after that first taste. Chef Chenitha is amazing, professional, talented and puts her all into each dish she makes/cater. I have had the wonderful opportunity of tasting or sampling many of her special dishes and not ONE; let me repeat that, not ONE dish was disappointing. Chef Chenitha puts her foot into them pots as Big Momma would say. Give HurryBack a try and I promise you won't regret it and this will definitely be your go to for all your catering needs.

I am first off very particular about what I eat and who I eat it from. I have sampled many dishes from HurryBack (Louisiana born and bred) Catering and I have NEVER been disappointed!! Their meals are Superb, the presentation is % on point and the overall business is the highest grade of professional! Chef-owner Chenitha Ellis brings a wonderful Cajun dining experience to Texas. I had piggybacked on a talk tread asking who does the best fried Turkey in the area. A Yelp pal (Hi Tish!) pointed me toward Hurryback. Chef Ellis' online reviews backed up what was stated in the talk thread.

Our excellent customer service began with our first phone call. Chenitha patiently answered all of our questions and as a bonus offered to meet us to drop off our bird.
