This company is amazing as they help design menus specific to clients' needs with specific dietary restrictions, etc. Their employees are very helpful in facilitating the orders and assisting in setting up large orders.. Cater2.Me is full of promises that they will NOT deliver.
My family is an investor in our cousin's 2 restaurants. My father and I happened to be present when a sales person entered our store to give us an extremely hard sales pitch about partnering with Cater2.Me and how much business they would bring our restaurants.
We brought them food for 20, despite only 7 employees being present for our set meeting the following week. In our 2 minute meeting, they asked us zero questions about the food and only if we would deliver to Brooklyn (one of our restaurants is in FiDi, so that's no problem

Cater2.me is a scam. They are unorganized, always in a panic and never deliver what they promise. I had 3 TERRIBLE experiences with them. Finally, our office dropped them altogether and moved on to another company.
I'm not sure how this business functions, but they're not able to make your catering needs any easier and in fact will create a big headache, so AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I really enjoy using Cater2.me!
I am the Operations Manager for a team of 30 in San Francisco and I switched over to Cater2.me after months of hand-picking restaurants and spending an hour a day ordering food for my growing team. What a relief it has been since partnering up with Cater2.me! I have all of my meals planned until the end of October and all I had to do is approve the proposals Alexis sent over to me! Our orders have only been late maybe twice and it was by minutes due to horrendous construction in front of our building. I was notified before I even realized they were running late

Changed my companies' life! I've been using cater2me for a while and seriously love them. My guardian angel aka rep Sandy Schwarz is amazing. Because of her, I'm able to have catering booked months in advance and not worry. Not worrying and catering for an office frequently do not go together but they are magicians. Sandy is sooo accommodating even with my specific choices.

Cater2.me is amazing! I am the office manager for a company of 20 people and we have lunch catered weekly. Cater2.me takes all the stress out of ordering, budgeting, and most importantly meets everyones dietary needs! This was a huge headache for me every week, and now I just email Matt Kabrel and he sends me tons of options within our budget. Team members can subscribe to get the menu sent to them, and the food is delivered promptly and set up with everything we need (even labels!).

These folks... I tell you what. I cannot say enough about how easy they are to work with. Becca Kavich is prompt to respond to my emailed questions, always sends me plenty of options for my events based on my budget, and even helps me with the little details when necessary.
For example, I needed someone to help set-up and break-down at a corporate lunch we were having at our office. She immediately sent me 3 options of meals from restaurants who would send someone out for 2 hours with the meal to assist. They are so awesome. They make everything as far as company lunches and breakfasts goes soooo effortless.
I wish I could hire them for everything. Our representative is always available to answer questions. She never gets frazzled and is always so pleasant. I have no idea how she does it.

Extraordinarily poor logistical management. We have an office with 40 people and ordered for 60, just to be sure.
I have no idea what the onboarding and estimated quantities process is, but we had three weeks of failures where there wasn't enough food. It was laughable. And each time it was photo documented and reported.
Again:
40 people in office.

Not enough for even 40.
Repeatedly.
After reporting.
We thought Zerocater was bad, which is why we tried Cater2.me for our Wednesday's. We're thanking our lucky stars we didn't switch over more

Here's a review from the other side, the side that has been missing--the small businesses and "local vendors" that make the food being ordered. A local restaurant owner I am close to signed up with them soon after he opened, as a way to supplement revenue. After awhile he realized the arrangement was unsustainable, considering that Cater2.me took up to 22% of each order. This was before sales tax and credit card fees. Some people in your life just make everything easier for you: a nanny, a chauffeur, a sugar daddy...okay I don't have a privilege of any of those, but Cater2me, makes my life so much easier at work! I am in charge of HR and office management at work, and they make our catering so effortless on my part. I love my rep Erin! We have been using them for over a year now, we have lunch catered in the office every Tuesday plus all the times I call for breakfast meetings, even without a lot of notice, they are on it!
I have used Cater2me for cocktail hour, Halloween events, etc. They are awesome. Always willing to help. I coordinate with them, pick out a few things, give them an idea of what I need and bam! done! taken care of.

I owe Cater2Me my firstborn child. Max & the Boston gang have saved me from turning into a full-time catering coordinator for our company of 35. Pros:

- Pricing is great! I let them know what we want to spend per person and am given a list of great options to choose from.

Cater2me has taken one of the most challenging aspects of my campus planning process and made it one less thing I have to worry. Seriously, these guys are on top of everything. They pick awesome DC vendors (local restaurants, startups, and food trucks) and stay within my budget.
Elan and Nick are always available and have been extremely helpful (even at the last minute!). They make sure the deliveries are always on time and if there are ever any issues (which there rarely are), they are always in immediate communication with me.

Have you ever spent hours placing lunch orders trying to please a group of picky eaters, all with their own special needs and wants?? Cater2me is the most brilliant service ever created!
I have worked with Cater2me and the lovely Tina Do for about 2 years now and I absolutely loved every second of it. This service exposes you to so many different cuisines that I honestly never knew existed. Everything you can think they offer. Jamaican, Mediterranean, Italian, Thai, Indian, American, German, French the list goes on.
I think my all time favorite is Crepe-Madame where these lovely french women come onsite and make sweet and savory crepes right in front of you! You pick your own ingredients to fill which can be scary, or ooooh

We started working with Cater2.Me several months ago after the logistics of providing lunch everyday to our small (but growing team) became too time consuming. Since then we've enjoyed a high level of service from Cater2.me. Sometimes the companies have not followed dietary restrictions super closely, creating a bit of a headache for me, but Cater2.me always took the necessary actions to stop it from happening again.

They indicated which items were gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, etc. - and that helped a lot. What didn't help is that though all the ingredients were listed, we discovered that some meals were cooked with the same things that we specified that people were allergic to.
I was weary of trying a new service for an upcoming meeting because we expected VIPs. I was assured that we would be "wowed."
On the day of I called wondering where our food was. Our rep called back a few minutes
