Sioux Spine & Sport
Conveniently located in west Sioux Falls (2 doors down from Dairy Queen at 26th and Marion Rd), the foremost health professionals at Sioux Spine and Sport are dedicated to helping you achieve your wellness objectives -- combining skill and expertise that spans the entire chiropractic/acupuncture/massage wellness spectrum.

Dr. Wade Scheurenbrand is committed to bringing you better health and a better way of life by teaching and practicing the true principles of musculoskeletal care. Our approach is a musculoskeletal one, whereby we treat the affected area of complaint, not just the spine but the muscles as well (i.e., adjustments, acupuncture, deep friction massage, myofascial release, stretching, etc.).
Services
Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on attempting to treat disease once it occurs, Sioux Spine & Sport emphasizes improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness in the first place. Most people would rather be healthy and avoid illness, if they could. This is one of the main reasons for the big surge in the popularity of our chiropractic services.
We understand that arriving at a doctors office for the first time can be nerve racking. Filling out paperwork, learning new faces and names, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience. That's why at Sioux Spine & Sport our aim is to remove any stress or causing unnecessary tension and to make you feel comfortable.
Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem.
Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Wade Scheurenbrand to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Wade Scheurenbrand to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.
Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.

I've been going to Wade since high school. I had some not beneficial experiences with another chiropractor in town that I had gone to for 10+ appointments with that never seemed to do anything (they told me it could take that many to start seeing results). Literally the first time I went to Wade I walked out of there feeling better and have been going back to him ever since. I have used him during very athletic and non athletic times of my life and he always gets me feeling better no matter what my problem area happens to be that day!

Wade is great! Our whole family has gone to him for several years, and he's always taken good care of us. We've recommended him to many friends and they've never been disappointed. He has also taught me several stretches to do when certain areas of my back are tight or painful. They have really worked well to keep me from having recurring problems. Another good thing about Wade is that I have never felt pressured to make frequent visits. I schedule appointments when I'm having issues, and he treats them without pressuring me to come back all the time. He has always done a good
