LCCT Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

I stopped by the gym as a visitor while traveling for work. Very welcoming gym from the blue belt students all the way up to Luiz. He spent time with me one on one helping refine some specific techniques which I had been struggling with. If you are in Chicago I would strongly recommend Luiz and the gym.

I just signed up my son. We were really pleased with the gym and staff. It was super clean, and they made us wear a mask before even entering the building. My son took part in a small sized class due to social distancing which we loved and he couldn’t even go on the mats until he had a temperature check, and hand sanitizer. I had luckily grabbed the last seat in the waiting room due to limited spaced out seating. All in all we are super pleased to have found this academy. After searching the area some other places did not go above and beyond like this school did with their safety measures. Way

I have been a student here for a little over 2 years. The hard lessons I have learned on the mats of this gym have helped me to become a better person to the people in my life, to sharpen my resolve, and to appreciate the small things in life. To move forward in the sport, Jiu Jitsu teaches you to improve your mind, body, and soul. Luiz is an amazing teacher, but he is an even more impressive and outstanding human being. This place is family, it is a place to better yourself and those around you, and I consider myself lucky to have the privilege to learn from a true master of the art. Oss!

LCCT Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is not a gym, it is a FAMILY!!! Luiz Claudio is the best professor. His way of teaching is top notch.
He makes you understand in a way, that anyone can get it. The school is clean, and very inviting.

Just started here a little over a month ago. Nervous at first about making this life change, but the instructors and Luiz made you feel welcome and part of the family immediately. Very knowledgeable instructors who want all to grow together. Top notch stuff.

Great atmosphere! People here are real professionals but really fun at the same time. I'm so happy my son is having the chance to learn Jiu Jitsu which I believe will only bring him great benefits. Luiz and Raphaella are amazing instructors and very knowledgeable.

This gym has been our 2nd home. Our kids train with Luiz is the best and all the coaches train our kids like their own. Anyone who has something negative to say is obviously a sore loser and doesn't know any better. LCCT our family backs you up 100%!!! Let's bring more gold home in 2019!!!! Oss

We love this place and the all coaches.
Waiting area is small though and no cups for water. Waiting area on bjj side can be improved. Single use recyclable not plastic cups can be used. Yes I know places with cups in gyms even for kids.
All my concerns are not that important, my kids love this place and always ready to go for class. Thanks to Luis and all coaches.

The best academy for jiujitsu in my opinion, professor Luiz Claudio and his cadre are unique with their knowledge of details behind their jiujitsu and what they teach their students. I come all the way from California to be a part of this family and to receive their instruction

If you want to learn from the best, work hard and be part of a family then look no further. LCCT has black belts teaching all BJJ classes. Luiz and Thiago are both black belts under Rickson Gracie so by training with them you become part of the Gracie lineage. This gym has changed my kids lives. They are stronger and more confident since they started training and that's priceless! They have given up all other sports because they love Luiz and Thiago's classes so much. I really can't say enough about how amazing LCCT is and how grateful I am to be a part of their family!

I came here from a previous martial arts school. I was expecting to be judged. My son needs guidance and someone who is patient with him. Walking in I was nervous....not even 10 min there and I felt so comfortable! My son loves it there. He's made so many friends and Coach Luiz is a saint with amazing patience. I have gained motivation and friendships that will last a lifetime. LCCT is one of the best places adults and kids can go to feel safe and comftorable no matter what skill level you are at!

So far so great! Attention to detail is off the charts.. Ralphaella is fantastic to work with, gets you going and signed up with a smile :) .. The instructors are awesome, social and disciplined not to mention highly advanced. Coach Kyle and his wrestling class is awesome! He's a high level wrestler who knows his stuff, his history and of course all the moves and technique you'll need to become a wrestler or improve your current skillset.
