Good manager on duty. Willing to help out customer when in need of transportation to airport as no available Uber/Lyft during certain hours with minimal fee. I will definitely going stay there again in my next visit.

It was a nice old school cozy hotel to stay in. Not very up to date like a lot of other hotels but it fits right in with the Maine setting. The staff were nice and made checking in easy and a breeze. Big porch to go outside and sit down and relax. The breakfast was nothing special but still something to eat. Overall a good lil hotel that I would stay at again. It’s not far from restaurants and other sites in Bangor. An hour or so drive to Bar Harbor so you don’t have to pay the insane hotel prices there.

Very nice clean hotel to stay at. I like the atmosphere and the setting. The location is awesome and close to so many things. The price is competitive but not too expensive. We choose this as one of our favorite places to stay when we come. The room is always clean, the sheets and towels are always smelling clean, the bed is comfortable, there is in room coffee which is great, grab and go breakfast in the morning which you can eat there or bring it back to your room, and so much more. We have stayed there a few times and we recommend it and we will be back.

Amazing hotel. Clean rooms, great air.
Staff is exceptional, very warm and helpful! The sweet front desk girl even found and lent me blender to use for a few days, she definitely deserves a raise!

Two nights, two different experiences. The walls must be unusually thin.
The first night I could hear the guy talking on his cell phone or watching TV for hours in the room adjacent to me. And, I mean hours. It went on to roughly 3am. I don't mean I could hear a muffled conversation, it was like I was in the room with him. It was really horrible.
The second night was perfect and I slept like a baby 🤷‍♂️.
Close to lots of more modern restaurants. Staff was friendly in helping me find things to do in Bangor. But, if you want to spend time on downtown Bangor, I'd stay closer to downtown

Great front porch to sit and relax on. staff was friendly. loved the fresh afternoon cookies. I asked for a later check out and it was noted but apparently housekeeping never got the message. it worked out fine.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Prices were a bit higher than last time but it's the time of year. It was worth it and I plan to continue to stay there whenever I travel the Bangor to see my daughter at UMaine. It's very clean and the staff is so lovely and accomodating. If they could have stopped the rain for us, I believe they would have! Since this is my daughter freshman year, I bet they will be seeing more of us for the next four years!

Loved the porch and cozy lobby, in which both provide an extended living space. The Country Inn would be a great place for an extended stay.
The premises looks brand new and kept very clean. Loved the staff as extra helpful and friendly. They were quite knowledgeable of local resources in the area.
Definitely recommend on both quality and price.

This place is both clean and affordable! The staff were so kind. I hardly ever write reviews but felt I had to share about what a great hotel this is, especially for families.

I don't often stay at other-than-chain hotels, but this is a really nice find in the Bangor area! It's the perfect combination of quaint and modern. Near the mall, other shopping and many restaurants. Very clean, tastefully appointed, and well-maintained. Nice breakfast. The staff are friendly and attentive. Not too big; not too small. If you are traveling in the Bangor area, I think you would be very pleased with this hotel. I'd recommend requesting room 116 if available. It's a nice first floor corner room with windows on two walls.

Country Inn at the Mall
A very nice, non-chain motel. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Plenty of free parking. The evening snacks were a nice touch. We don't get up early enough for breakfast, so can't comment on that. Good location in Bangor with lots of nearby shopping and eating options.

This is a friendly, reasonable, clean hotel with a 1 night minimum required (rare for the area). Have been staying there for years & will continue to do so. Just a simple, clean stay.

Decent place. I'd give 3.5 points if I could.

We stayed here with our family on our way to Acadia. Payed $100 for a night.

Pros:
- Welcoming lobby and eating area
- Decent continental breakfast
- Clean bedsheets and towels

Cons:
- The only con, but it's a significant one: We had a stinky room. I hate when hotel rooms smell perfumed or musty. Our's smelled musty. After venting it for 30 min, it was ok. Why do hotels not vent their rooms properly? It's such a basic thing.

Stayed there last night. Got special rate of $89 plus 8% tax as wife is in hospital nearby. Ordinary motel room. No thermostat control for heat and cooling so hard to adjust for comfort. Mattress so-so. Towels thin as indicated by previous reviewer. Very noisy in morning when people in room above started moving about. Sounded like a herd of elephants. Reasonably clean. Just an OK place to spend the night.

We stayed here overnight twice, on a trip to and from Atlantic Canada.

This is not a super-luxe hotel; it's a place to stay when you want a clean bed, a breakfast, and to be on your way with a minimum of fuss. If that's what you're looking for, this is a good choice.

Front desk staff are friendly and pleasant and efficient. The rooms are quite nicely clean and bright. The windows open, which is nice. There's also an AC unit that pumps out quite a volume of cold air without too much noise. The beds are comfortable, and there are plenty of pillows. The bathroom is spacious

Clean, quiet rooms with comfortable beds.
The A/C had a nice, steady low sound (not too loud).
The bathroom was spotless!
Good water pressure in the shower.
The doors lock and unlock with a real key! No messing around with the swiping card locks. I thought that was neat :)
No complaints.

Nothing to complain or rave about. We used this as a transition hotel between Maine and New Hampshire.

What struck me is that we got actual keys for the room, not plastic cards. The place was clean
