All of our trucks are equipped with all the necessities such as blankets, dollies, pads, straps, shrinkwrap and much more to make sure all of your items arrive safely in the new location. We charge a flat hourly rate that is accurate down to the next quarter hour, so if we go 15 minutes into the next hour we don't charge you for a full hour.
Since we are locally owned and operated our pricing is much less when compared to the larger moving companies. We don't have to pay franchise fees, so we are able to pay our clean cut movers more (and get quality employees) while passing the savings onto our loyal customers. This is the second move where we used Swift Moves, and they are the best movers EVER. (And we have moved a lot.) They wrap your furniture, they're efficient, they're SWIFT, they're good-natured, they're courteous, they don't pull any last-minute charges, they communicate, they're just great. Swift movers was very professional starting with Jeremy. Their price beat four other competitors.
The three gentlemen (2 Tims and Paul) unloaded our storage unit, delivered, and setup our large furniture. They were very professional, respectful to our household goods, and were impressively quick.

Updating my review since I got an email from Yelp saying it had been reported. Please don't make the mistake I made and only read one or two reviews for this company. Actually look through the other multiple 1 star reviews on this company to enable yourself to make a better decision.
So, here are the FACTS:
1 - Paid for professional packing by skilled movers, boxes, wrapping, and moving. Received damaged boxes the movers had to tape back together. Nothing was wrapped in a professional manner including furniture.

The Tim’s were great! Both movers names were Tim and they did a great job. We were moving from a 3 story Townhouse which meant a lot of stairs and turns. The Tim’s handled our stuff with care and it all got to our new place intact and pretty fast for having to maneuver the stairs. Would use Swift again and would recommend them to anybody looking for movers.

Just relocated from Tampa. These guys helped me pack the truck. Kevin was the lead of the 3 man crew and was FANTASTIC! I truly mean that. Went above and beyond, focused, and did an amazing job. The reason for the 1 star were the other two individuals with him. I'm being charged by the hour, and of the 4 hours they were here, we had TWO 40 minute spans while Kevin was upstairs disassembling that NOTHING was put in the truck. So 80 minutes of the 240, no packing of the truck. I had a leather chair with a leather step and the two guys literally attempted to put on the truck without wrapping

My movers, Tyler and Tyler were great! I called several different movers and they quoted me over $2k for a Sarasota to St. Pete move! Swift moves had the best quote. This was a move from a military base to a house off the installation. In order to get access to the base you cannot of open warrants for your arrest otherwise they can arrest you or deny you access. This was something I mentioned in the quoting process. In this case the company provided three movers. I reminded them several times that if they had anything they could be denied or arrested and I was assured they were good. Needless to say one was not and was denied access.
We were down to two movers now which turned a half day or so move to a full day.

I will never forget the amazing service and work ethic this company has. Our movers cancelled Friday night for a Sunday move. We were referred to Swift Moves. Jeremy the owner was quick to make our move happen on the same day. Tim, Tom, and Chino worked so hard all day. They didn’t stop. They didn’t complain. They killed it. The professionalism… they showed was outstanding. Even when their tire went flat. They made it to the our new home and had someone out there to fix it. It was seamless.
