Susan Molitor is a native Oregonian who began her training at Arthur Murray Dance School in 1979. In 1983, she became an independent dance instructor offering quality instruction in a non-competitive atmosphere. Her goal has always been to make partner dance affordable and accessible to a broad audience.
Susan loves helping couples prepare for their wedding day. In addition to group lessons and workshops, she offers very affordable, private choreography packages to help you create the first dance experience you've been dreaming of for your wedding.

Beginning Level classes are great for anyone looking to learn or refresh their knowledge of the basics. Students may want to repeat the beginning level before moving on to the Beginning/Intermediate level if they do not have a complete understanding of the material covered. Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba and Merengue are all good starter classes for new dancers.
If you need miss a lesson please call Susan in advance at (503)221-3083 to allow time for a substitute to be called in for the night. Refunds are not available for missed lessons and class fees will not be pro-rated. Social dance appeals to a wide variety of people: young, old, singles, couples, novices, hobbyists, generally nice people exploring new ways of personally enriching their lives.
Susan teaches partner dance at the Waverly Heights UCC in Southeast Portland every Tuesday and Wednesday night. She offers group lessons in three, four, and six week sessions that require pre-registration to ensure an even ratio of leads to follows. She also provides private dance lessons upon request and is an accomplished choreographer.
