Elevate Dance Academy is a recreational and competitive dance studio specializing in musical theater, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, acro, pointe, jazz funk, tap, and ballet. We offer classes for dancers ages 2-19 and welcome all levels from beginner to advanced. We pride ourselves on giving students the encouragement and professional instruction needed to reach their highest potential.
We are located on the second floor of the PDX Sports Center. Our facilities include 3,200 square feet of dance space with viewing windows, separate girls and boys dressing rooms with lockers, a homework area, multiple waiting areas, and a snack bar. A bonus for non-dancing siblings and parents, our building also houses a pilates studio, swimming pool, basketball court, two indoor soccer fields, a fitness bootcamp, and more!.

The owners and their teachers are incredibly passionate about the art of dance. With every discipline, they deliver with heart in their studio classrooms (and zoom) and bring an entire experience to the stage! It is literally like a small mini-broadway show that parents, judges, audience get to see. Their love for the dancers is also top notch! They pull out the best in everyone of them. Somehow what they are teaching encourages dancers to want more, to push for more, because each one of them are given a sense of confidence that anything is possible with hard/smart work and dedication. We are incredibly blessed to be a part of the Elevate Family. We transferred here looking for a family atmosphere where all students and levels of dancers are challenged and loved. The coaches push these dancers to be better versions of themselves in and out of the studio! We are thankful for the clear communication, their high standards they give… each student and the incredible technique! My daughter enjoys being in the studio because of the positive and supportive environment that Brittany has created and implements. Dancers of all levels and ages are given the same amount of attention

We moved to Portand 2 years ago and my family was so fortunate to have found Elevate when they literally first opened their doors. Michel and Brittany are very trustworthy, and personable individuals. They were one of the first people we met the first month of moving, and they were very helpful and accommodating. Our family cherish the dance… community they created. As they continuously care for each individual dancer, I couldn’t see sending my daughter to dance anywhere else. My daughter enjoys the time she spends at Elevate, and she has grown so much as a dancer.

We switched to Elevate almost a year ago, and it has been a wonderful experience. Brittany, Michel, and the rest of their staff care deeply about each and every one of their dancers, and have created an atmosphere that fosters inclusivity, acceptance, hard-work, and growth. I've coached Tumbling & Acrobatic classes for many years, and this is the best company I've ever worked for. Elevate values its staff, students and parents. The level of experience and professionalism is very high, yet it feels more like being part of a family than working for a company. I would definitely send my kids here, and recommend that my loved ones do the same!

We have been so happy with our choice to go with Elevate this year! Brittany is incredibly talented in both the choreo and the training she offers to each and every dancer at her studio. Brittany and Michel have shown amazing dedication to nurturing our daughter to grow both in her individuality as a dancer as well as part of her dance team! Brittany is one of a kind!! The instruction, hands on teaching she provides is so wonderful. Brittany truly takes the time to teach how to engage each muscle, the why behind needing to engage the muscle and helps the dancer understand how to work their body to produce the correct movement. She is inspiring to watch and captivated my tiny dancer in a way I haven’t seen before! So glad to have found her & blessed that she is working with us! 🙌🏻🙏🏼
