My knowledge of computers comes from my extreme interest in computers since I was a little kid. I am older now with well over 25 years of hands-on computer experience with Basic Data Recovery, Networking, and Software/ Hardware repair. Originally this was only a hobby of mine, to just go out and help others like a traveling salesman, as my great-grandfather did for a living.
As time went on, I realized that many people throughout the world were looking for deals and money-saving options. So over time I decided to provide free computer services to the residents of northeast Minneapolis who were in financial hardship, and have been doing so since 2015.

I found this place by chance after our crazy pup broke my laptop. When I asked a larger tech shop about the repairs I was quoted $100-$140 for installation of the new part, with no guarantee that it would fix the problem.
Mat didn't charge me a thing for his services after taking apart my laptop and seeing I would need a new one. He even walked me through the process!! He answered my 1093939 questions, recommended new laptop brands, and even helped me via text while I was shopping at Bestbuy.
Cannot recommend enough!!

Customer service is such a priority here. He really takes the time to make sure you get exactly what you need and is super transparent about what's going on, what he's doing, setting expectations, etc. He really goes the extra mile - he showed me how I can do something myself instead of telling me to come back and pay over and over, which is above and beyond anything you would get somewhere like Geek Squad or Office Depot. Cannot recommend enough and will be back anytime I need help.

I had 2 computers that were got bricked by the Windows 10 update and one additional computer with electrical problems. I got all 3 fixed for less than what it would have cost me to bring one of them to Geek Squad. In addition to being prompt on fixing my PCs, the owner, Mr. Lang, was also kind enough to get me continuous updates. I would strongly recommend this place.
