Aim Fitness
I was new to working out. Matt made me feel comfortable & confident in my ability to start slow and increase my strength and ability. Aim Fitness rocks! Matt is an excellent trainer who is skilled at crafting exercises that are a perfect fit for each individual. Aim Fitness is a gem of a gym. Small group exercise, one-on-one training, and a professional and knowledgeable owner make AIM the place to go for setting and reaching your fitness goals.

Our unique training style focuses on the use of multi-joint body weight exercises, using different planes of movement, rather than the typical linear modality of exercise machine, that are most commonly used in gyms. This targets specific areas of the body to help you achieve your unique goals. Aim Fitness offers PRIVATE, SEMI-PRIVATE, AND GROUP CLASSES all in a non-judgemental setting where I truly get to know each and every one of my clients.

Hi, I'm Matt Scanlon, owner of Aim Fitness training studio in North Andover, MA. I earned my personal training certificate through the America Academy of Personal Training (AAPT) in 2009 and have been working in health clubs since I was 22 years old. But there are lots of trainers and clubs out there.

Aim Fitness offers private, semi-private and group classes all in a non-judgmental setting where I truly get to know each and every one of my clients.
After an initial fitness evaluation and discussion of your concerns and goals, we will create a program designed specifically for you. This is your opportunity for targeting training to help you achieve success whether you want to run a 5K, lose 10, 20, or 30 pounds, participate in a triathlon or simply tone up.
Regardless of gender, age, weight, or experience, strength and conditioning is critical to overall health. Why? The number one reason most people name is more muscle equals less fat. That's true because as muscle mass increases so does metabolism, but strength training can improve posture, increase bone density, help you sleep better, and just make it easier to do everyday things because youre stronger and leaner - come joins us!
I started attending Aim Fitness classes because I found that I wasn't motivated during my independent work out routines. Matt is extremely knowledgeable in all things fitness, including form, diet, and most of all, the overall needs of the individual. Before I knew it I was seeing results, and I felt like a new person.

I'm super gym shy and Matt has worked with me to be more confident in working out regularly and eating better. The classes are always different (with varied exercises pulling from various styles of fitness) and the class sizes are small with friendly people at all levels. Even with a small class size, there's always individual attention and each exercise is modified to you (I have various injuries and there's always a modification from Matt!). Classes go by quick!

Can't recommend this place enough - it's just a hidden gem. Different from anything you've done! Try
