I do not recommend this one. I saw they have rekey and gate lock service on yelp. But when the locksmith came to my house and the man told me that he only could unlock the gate for me. He could not rekey or change a new lock for me. Even the man is very kind and the service is good. It is not reasonable to spend $87 to a simple unlock.

They are the real deal. Very professional, courteous and thorough. One of my door lock sets literally fell apart. I ordered a replacement and took it to their location to have it keyed the same as the rest of our locks. Reasonable pricing and fast service. It is my perception they do a lot of business offsite (they come to you), so you run the risk that no one will be in the shop when you drop by. However, a quick phone call will be answered and they will let you know when someone will be there if all are offsite helping others.

I just moved to a new home and I wanted to rekey all of the locks. I looked on yelp and found The Scottish Locksmith had very good reviews. I called and Alan was able to do the job the next day. During the call he told me exactly what it would cost. He finished the job in about 2 hours and the cost was exactly as quoted over the phone. I highly recommend Alan for any locksmith jobs.

I needed a locksmith for my parents' house in Poway. They were freaking out a little about having a front door without a working lock. I guess I didn't blame them. Well - I turned to my trusty Yelp people and found the Scottish Locksmith. I actually was going to call a few other people before I called them, but I dialed the number and hung up. And within seconds, Alan was calling me back asking if I needed some help. He was out of town, but the other locksmith Alan sent came quickly and was able to fix their lock by installing a new one. Fast, efficient service. About $125 to install
