A Wee Care Club is unlike any other childcare center in Orange County. We are the only state licensed center devoted exclusively to providing parents with the flexibility and freedom that the hourly, drop-in concept offers them. We are licensed to provide care for children from ages 2 to 12. Since bringing this concept to Orange County in the summer of 2004, we have provided a quality, fun-filled childcare experience for thousands of families.

For each child (Ages 2-5 & 6-12) to have a positive childcare experience, enjoy a day of FUN, and to interact with other children their age in a stimulating and healthy environment supervised by our qualified, caring childcare professionals.

Learning through play is a term used in education and psychology to describe how a child can learn to make sense of the world around them. Through play children can develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments.

My son is in his 3rd year of college now. Elizabeth and John were a godsend to me as a single mom working and also for a few other functions where I couldn't bring my kiddo, starting when my son was 3. They are amazing and my son loved going there. We wouldn't see them for over a year and then we'd walk in and they would greet my son by name and be excited to see him. My son had developmental delays and they were very understanding and accommodating, I understood that it wasn't all on them but they were amazing and we loved them. I'm so glad they are out there.

This place is great. The owners are so sweet and caring and I fully trust taking my toddler there. The price is very reasonable and the hours are generous. It really is so nice to have this type of drop-in day care setting. I have used them for half days and 1-2 hours stretches for appointments, errands, etc. I'm so glad I live nearby because I really haven't heard of other places quite like this. I can't recommend them enough!

Elizabeth and John continue to take very good care of my daughter. She's always very excited to get dropped off and when I pick her up she always says she had fun. During these unusual COVID times, the center is taking the proper precautions. They always check my daughter's temperature. They are always in masks and make sure to only let one family at a time for drops off and pick ups. The center is kept sanitized and clean. They just added Saturday hours back on the schedule. If you are looking for a safe facility with caring staff, this is the right drop in daycare for you.

I have taken all 3 of my kids here. They take excellent care of children and I trust them.
Great location. Wonderful and caring staff.
My oldest is now 16. She used to go whenever I had school meetings. Then my now 10 year old would join her after she was 2 years old. The minimum age requirement is 2. I felt safe having my girls there. Now I have a 2 year old that is acclamating really well to a new place to play.
They are kind, considerate and very attentive.

This drop in daycare has been such a wonderful place for my children to play. I have three boys and they absolutely love coming here! The family that runs the daycare is very helpful & caring. The best part is you dont need a reservation, you just drop in when you need care. The flexibility has really help my family out time after time!!!

My kids have been going to Playmates for about a week. They don't want to leave, and can't wait to go back.
The concept is extremely convenient when work or life throws something unexpected or last minute your way.
John and his wife Elizabeth are very nice and nurturing- can't say enough good things about them.

I have been taking my daughter to Playmates for years and she loves going there. They provide games and crafts along with open play for the children. It is very affordable and super convenient. It is located in a good central spot with lots of restaurants and stores around making it easy to run errands while the kids play. They have good hours and definitely recommended childcare for date nights.

Ridiculous to be closed on Sunday's. The lady is not friendly at all. They serve cheap delivery pizza for every single meal (and that's literal). Our son acts weird and terrified after being there. They are in constant violation of ratios with children. I don't know how they haven't been shut down. Oh and they rope most of the entire space off and keep them gated and confined. Very bland decor, not stimulating at all. We only use this if we are DESPERATE and I usually feel so guilty.

Nice place but I wouldn't go back my son hated it. The couple is nice well no the husband is nice the wife not at all. I actually was shocked because usually the woman step up to calm the kid but my son hated it and she did nothing. Two times we took him and he peed all over himself and he's potty trained for over a year and never does that.
Like I said I went a few times never went back again.

I've been going here off and on for a few years since my son turned 2. I am also a single mom and have no family nearby. So yes, this place is a godsend. I use this place along with my full time daycare, for days in which my daycare is not available.
I was reading other reviews, and here are some things I would like to address for some of the negative reviews.
1. As a general rule, at any daycare, kids are not allowed to bring their own toys, this is totally understandable and is a rule I have seen at more than 3 daycares. I've also seen kids fight over their toys and this causes

The family that owns and operates Playmates are the most wonderful people. So caring, patient, understanding, and my children LOVE going there.
They do fun activities, games, play doh, dress up, pizza party, dance party, parachute with balls, etc...
I can't say enough about how great this place is. The price is fair. The place is clean, and organized. Kids are HAPPY!

You have not addressed one single concern of the ones I raised. That speaks volumes of your professionalism and level of care for the children you're entrusted with. Your comment basically says "other people like us as we are and we're getting the money for it. We couldn't care less about your concerns as a parent. We're not in that line of business."
Your comment only confirmed my fears. I'm glad I had the insight to not even give it a try.

1. The front desk staff were the owners. Husband/Wife. (Both were friendly). Their daughter was in the the snack area providing snack to 2 little ones. It's family owned that's wonderful!
2. There is a row of computer of kids playing video games. School age kids. They were quiet and content. I saw some mine craft games being played.
3. The place is clean. It doesn't smell. Floor
