I had a bad feeling about this company from the beginning. Crossed my mind that this was a fraudulent company, especially after my bank called me and said it seemed like a fraudulent transaction from NY. The company required tip before event which also seemed weird because we didn't know how service would be. I gave tip it anyway because we were desperate for ride for our Wedding. Day of wedding we got a call saying our party bus did not have AC and a new bus would pick us up. Bus was late picking us up from church which made us run late to our wedding reception. I used this company 4-5 years ago and it was very much a white glove service. The cars were recent models, immaculate and the drivers always had a bottle of water awaiting you. This time the cars were clean and ok but no different than Uber or Lyft. The driver was on time for my pickup to and from the airport. What made no sense is neither driver used Ways or any GPS program to determine the fastest, shortest ride. In this day and age I found this inexplicable. The drive to Midway was nail biting. Highly recommend. Suburban Rides was quick to reply to my online info request and to respond to any emails we exchanged within a few hours at the most. They were on time, the ride was enjoyable, and easily communicated via text and phone as needed. So I was looking for a non-traditional taxi service, after American Blue seems to have fizzled out and ran across Suburban Rides. I have to admit I'm a bit of a car snob and I'm a hard grader as well. But how pleasantly surprised I was to get Carlos as my driver. This dude was so professional and courteous. Is the music ok? I was texting with Suburban Rides dispatcher during the drive home. I could hear Duffy talking to the dispatcher when she was checking to see if he was okay. He asked her what the charge would be for the ride and she told him $75. Good customer service would have taken this opportunity to waive the $75 charge. While I understand the Black Car is contracted by Suburban, they still represent your image as a company.
When I initially spoke with Duffy in my driveway at 12:45 AM on January 1st, he was defensive about his driving stating that he has "never missed a shift

Once again, Suburban Rides came through a WINNER!! Our driver, Marie, texted me to ensure we were a 'go' and stayed in touch, getting to our house early! Her car was immaculate, she was kind and pleasant, there were water bottles in the back for the drive...

I love companies that make things easy and that do what they say they are going to do. Each time that I have had to go to the airport or come home, I have been able to book transportation online - often with short notice because I am a last minute travel nightmare.
They quickly have responded, gave me very clear instructions on what to do and have been afffordable. They have generally cost me about $10-15 more than an Uber and with 100% better service. Their drivers are all very friendly, know where they are going and have nice cars. You can't go wrong.

I am so happy with the service. I emailed less than 24 hours in advance of my return to O'Hare. They responded quickly with an estimate. Once I approved, I received another email with instructions for my arrival.
I had a text message waiting from my driver, Maricor, when I landed. She was a friendly and helpful driver. I was so pleased with her service.

Excellent service and dependable people who are very professional !! They have immaculate vehicles! Rates were comparable to most and higher than some but to me-worth it! The drivers keep in touch with texting and know your flight status at all times. My driver picked me up at the airport and at the exact location I was located.
Definitely would use this company again.

Can't say enough good words for these folks. Booked an early morning (3:30 AM) cab for a friend of mine from Schaumburg to Midway Airport. I was a little worried since I heard from many friends that they have had cab and shuttle services cancelling the bookings, unable to provide ride from suburbs to Midway.... at last moments, especially at timing like this. But these guys surprised me.
I paid over the phone by giving my credit card details. But somehow, it was not penned down right and they could not charge my card, which the accounts team realized later. Despite, they stood by their commitment

Not sure which Suburban Rides I should post this review to so I am posting it in all:
This was our first time trying Suburban Rides. The others did not even return our call. We attended a concert in the city and having suburban rides take us there and back made it so much more enjoyable for our group. Fernando gave us options of 2 cars or a limo for our group. He was very helpful and was not doing the hard sell at all. I highly recommend these guys and we will always use them from now on.

I was very happy with my booking and service through Suburban Rides. I was comparing responses and prices among a few town car companies and in the end went with SR due to their pricing & service exemplified.
On the morning of my very early pick-up, I had scheduled 5am but it ended up being about 5:15 am as the driver had issues finding my office. I ended up walking to the main street to help him in finding me. He played classical music on the way there which in turn made me feel classy.
He also chatted quite a bit which I can appreciate most of the time but for whatever reason that morning

Suburban Rides was our airport transportation for a recent family vacation. I couldn't be happier with the service! Everything was booked online - super convenient and very prompt responses.
