My name is Laura Viney and I have lived in Stoughton since I was 4 years old. I graduated in 2001 with my bachelor's degree in Business Management with many Early Childhood classes from UW-Whitewater. Together we have 2 children, Drew and Addison; who take up all of our free time with football, basketball, baseball, dance, and gymnastics but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Services
This is a separate building located on the east side of Stoughton. It serves ages 5 years to 12 years old. During the school year we offer a before and after-school program specifically for Kegonsa Elementary students. We are open 6am to 8am and then again from 3pm to 6pm during the school year. We also offer care on non-school days and half days.
We provide a safe and engaging environment for your school age children to attend when you have to be at work before school starts and after school ends. They are able to socialize and play with friends before we head to the bus stop or the Learning Tree van takes them to school around 7:35. In the afternoon we will provide transportation from Sandhill and Fox Prairie school.

Our 4K program is from 8-11, Monday through Thursday. We work on a variety of skills together, specifically geared towards preparing our students for kindergarten. Our class circle times are interactive and focus on skills such as letter and sound recognition, writing our names, writing the upper and lowercase alphabet, writing and identifying numbers 1-20, counting to 100, and learning the color words and basic shapes.

My children attended Learning Tree for several years and we loved the classroom teachers. We withdrew our kids in the summer of 2020 due to ownership not enforcing covid safety guidelines. I was very offended to find out that eight months after our use of Learning Tree, Laura the owner and Rachel the manager called a family friend who attends their daycare into their office to discuss the intimate details of my pending divorce. I do not feel the separation of a family is fodder for anyone’s discussion, especially in a professional environment with children involved.

Over two years at Learning Tree and our son couldn't be happier. Our oldest son started at Learning Tree at 3 yrs old and he's loved it ever since. He talks all the time about his friends and the games they play outside. We love that when the weather is nice they get lots of outdoors time and exercise. During winter months they go out at least once a day unless the temperature is too low. The rates are very competitive compared to other centers and the hours are awesome, 6am - 6pm. The ability to stay at work past 5pm is a huge boon for us and something most centers don't do. I would highly recommend

We have been nothing but impressed with the quality of care for our 5 children , organization & communication provided! The facility is secure and teachers are amazing. Lots of structured for learning and playtime. We still get that family-oriented feel and have never thought twice about our decision choosing Learning Tree and play land . Laura the owner and Rachel her assistant run a smooth, friendly and well organized facility and it shows as soon as you walk in the door. So proud to have my family be apart of it . I would Highly recommend this Daycare the best one in Stoughton Wi.

They say it take a whole village to raise a child. Learning Tree and Playland is that and more. Both of my children have gone there since they were extremely young and we have loved every minute of the experience. The dedication and care of the staff is second to none. My son is currently in the 4K program at the daycare which has been world class. Every day he brings home tons of great art and learning materials. I would recommend LT&P to anyone.

This is not our children's first daycare experience, but it has been the BEST! LTPC is top notch! The teachers are incredible! I'm amazed at the level of detail I get from them at the end of the day - letting me know how their day went. In addition to the feedback at the end of the day, I love receiving constant updates throughout the day via the app. What they're eating, when they're eating, when they're sleeping, what activities they're doing and even pictures! Which I LOVE! I also appreciate that teachers that aren't currently teaching my children, still know their names and take the time to

Learning Tree has been great for our son. We get updates periodically throughout the day on the Hi Mama app with pictures so we always know what he is doing, what he's eating and when he's napping. The director plans fun holiday events and field trips throughout the summer. We absolutely love the 4k program. Mrs. Jessica & Mrs. Hailey are so great with the kids. My son loves them.
