Dr. Frei was born in San Antonio, Texas, the youngest of seven kids. He received his B. S. in Biology from UTSA and graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio. Dr. Frei has 4 terrific children: Nick, Cody, Noelle, and Carter.

Amanda joined the team at Bulverde North Family Dental in 2017 and brought with her extensive experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and general dentistry. She works both in the office and clinically and our patients benefit from her experience in working with insurance companies She greatly enjoys seeing patients smile and enjoy the benefits of excellent function and appearance.
One of the best things you can do to ensure the oral health of you and your family is to schedule regular exams and cleanings. Usually, we recommend that our patients come in for professional exams and cleanings at least twice a year, although some patients may be asked to return more often if necessary.
Given the choice, almost everyone would probably prefer to keep their own natural teeth. And most dentists agree. Unfortunately, that's not always possible. For whatever reason, some people lose their teeth or need to have them extracted. For those individuals, dentures can change their lives for the better in so many ways.
Crowns are an excellent way to repair a tooth that is very badly decayed or damaged and cannot be fixed with a simple filling. Perfect first experience. The office is located in a very nice and scenic areas where you can watch the birds and squirrels play while you are in the chair. The front office was nice and helpful with scheduling the appointment and helping me with the new patient paperwork. The hygienist was very gentle and kind. You could tell she enjoys what she does. Dr. Frei is a great dentist and even better person. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. Not once did I feel like anyone was trying to sell me anything unnecessary. I will certainly be back with the restoration my family.

We always have a great experience at Dr. Frei‘s office. The front desk staff as well as the dental hygienists are excellent, professional, and friendly. I have three girls, ages 13, nine, and seven. All three love to go get their teeth cleaned. My oldest had to get a couple of fillings and is extremely afraid of shots. The staff worked really well with us to make both her and myself as comfortable as possible in that situation.

I could not have asked for a better experience. The staff is exceptional at their job and had went above and beyond getting me in and scheduled for the extensive care that needed completion before having to leave Texas for Alaska. Dr Frei did an amazing and pain free job with my care and the procedures that I had to have completed. I would recommend this practice to anyone needing dental care and will continue with them for years to come.

Kelly, Maria, and Dr. Frei did a great job! I was totally relaxed, as they are very friendly. It was as if I was visiting old friends, oh and while we're here let's look at your teeth.
Everything was well explained and very thorough. It had been awhile since my last appointment and I've got some issues to address. They made a treatment plan that I am comfortable with and Kelly helped me figure out the financial end of it.
I am very pleased with my visit!
Had a root canal today and was relaxed and comfortable enough that I actually dozed off for awhile. Maria did a great job of answering questions
