Services
I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania as well as a nationally credentialed counselor. I work with children, adults, and couples to meet each individual or couple's needs. I specialize in working with trauma, issues related to military service such as transition to civilian life, family conflict, depression, anxiety, impulse control, and life transitions such as divorce and retirement.
My therapeutic style involves a warm, collaborative relationship by which we can achieve your mental health, wellness, education, or career goals. I use a variety of techniques that assist in thinking more efficiently about your place in this world. My goal is to help you be at peace with what is difficult, be it depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or just your personal wellness.
I enjoy working with all people. My ideal clients are those who want to be self aware, mindful and confident; those who want their lives to reflect their values and beliefs. Helping clients to recognize and understand the mind-body connection and to understand how thoughts directly affect behavior is my passion.
The privacy, safety, and convenience of our clients are of great importance. Our Washington office, Located along route 40, is a short drive from I-70 and downtown Washington, we have a heated sidewalk, well-lit entrance, free off-street parking area, and complimentary tea, coffee, or water with each visit.

I had called a while ago to be a new patient because it feels like my whole life is falling apart; perfect timing for a therapist, right? Well I had one call back from her and that was the intake call or whatever. I booked an appointment and nothing ever happened with that, no call or email saying that she wasn't available. I had called three times since then and has never received a call back. As someone who's going through something, I feel like it's very unprofessional and uncaring that she hasn't had the decency to call me back.
