She loved going to the dentist then, and she loves her work now. Asked what she would do if she won the lottery, she said she would build a bigger and nicer office, pay the staff amazingly well, and do a lot of charity work.

As an undergraduate student at the University of Georgia, Dr. Chandler spent time volunteering at Mercy Health Center, a Christian health resource center in Athens that serves the underprivileged. Her experience serving in their dental clinic caused her to change her career choice from becoming a physician to becoming a dentist.

As a young girl growing up in Clarkesville, Georgia, Dr. Cheek loved visits with her hometown dentist. Since second grade, she knew she wanted to be a dentist and provide her own patients with great experiences. After graduating from Mercer University in 1992, Dr. Cheek became a dental assistant and was accepted into the dental program at the Medical College of Georgia where she earned her DMD degree and graduated first in her class.
Dr. Chandler always knew she wanted to work in the healthcare field, but she thought she would become a physician. While attending the University of Georgia where she earned dual bachelor of science degrees in biology and genetics, she volunteered in the dental clinic at Mercy Health Center, as well as in local dental offices.
Dr. Brice worked every summer from age 9 until age 20 in his mother's orthodontic practice. With each passing year, he became keenly aware of the profound positive impact excellent dental care provides its patients. His passion was driven further as he began to appreciate that dentistry provides the unique opportunity to blend science and art to create lasting results with outstanding aesthetics.
Kathy has been one of the hygienists on our fantastic team for many years. She looks forward to coming to work each day because she knows she can provide exceptional care in an office that is technologically advanced and has a group of ladies that genuinely care about each other and the patients. Kathy's career spans over 30 years and began at St. Petersburg College.

Yesterday was our first visit for my two children and the whole staff is outstanding. Everyone we had the pleasure to meet where so welcoming and helpful. After each child was done with there appointment they came out smiling. Dr.Cheek was so nice and helpful. I highly recommend checking out this great establishment.

This place is the best dentist I have ever been to . Extremely satisfied with everything from the front desk staff to X-ray techs and dentist. He took the time to break everything down and made me feel comfortable. If you haven’t been here you need to I will be personally recommending this place to everyone. I’ve been going to this dental office for years and I’ve always said it’s the best in E. Cobb. Today I got to meet one of their new doctors, Dr. Houston Brice. I was thoroughly impressed by the man. He was able to quickly and easily address the concerns I had about a chip in a crown, which had been done by another office many years ago. Not only is he an affable and knowledgeable dentist, I enjoyed getting to meet him and look forward to returning as a patient. Also, a huge thanks to the entire team at Cheek dental for yet another great experience.

I'm one of those people who requires a good bit of dental work. I went today for a cleaning, and left the super folks at Cheek Dental feeling like I'm in good hands. I was able to meet the newest doc, Houston Brice, and we made a plan to address my current situation. I feel confident having these folks on my Dental Team!

Dr.Chandler is the bomb dot com! Even though I was pretty nervous about coming in, I felt welcomed since the beginning. I was brought back to get my teeth checked with Dr. Chandler, she was thorough with my exam and went over the things she would be doing. She went over my treatment plan with me. I never felt embarrassed or ashamed about my teeth when I was there and at the end of the day she made me feel better after my treatment program. The office staff was very helpful also in informing me about the cost of my treatment and what my options were. I am very thankful to have found a great dentist

I have been going to Cheek Dental for about 15 years and have always enjoyed my experience with them (even though I really don't particularly like "going to the dentist!"). Recently, I had to have more extensive work done on my teeth where I had to have my dental bridge replaced. I was extremely stressed leading up to the experience. Dr. Chandler was amazing with me and knew how scared I was to have all the work done. She took the time to meet with me in person several times as well as on the phone to answer all my questions. I was extraordinarily impressed during my first visit, which was an in-depth examination of my teeth and gums with a broad set of tools to determine my needs going forward, and during my second visit, a day later, which involved a deep cleaning of two quadrants where there was substantial damage preparatory to some repair work in a couple of weeks.
