Greenfield Assisted Living was founded in 2003, by an MD who had worked in the field of surgery and his wife was involved in the care of her Father after he had suffered a hemmorhagic stroke. This prompted them to establish Greenfield Assisted Living: to provide the best personalized care to meet individual needs in a home-like setting.
Greenfield Assisted Living specializes in working with Alzheimer's and Dementia. We have visiting doctors and nurses, and work very closely with them in monitoring the health and welfare of our residents. These services are provided in a home-like setting, giving residents ease and comfort.

Our family made the decision to move our mother/grandmother to assisted living after it was no longer possible to continue caring for her at home. We found Greenfield Assisted Living and were very pleased with the compassionate care that she received there. The staff was wonderful and made sure that all of her needs were met. As her health continued to decline they worked closely with hospice to ensure that she was comfortable and helped to coordinate additional services that were needed at that point.

We moved my mom to Greenfield Assisted Living after she spent two months at a larger assisted living facility. Over those two months, we saw a drastic decline in my mom's health and well being. My mom required the highest level of care, due to to neurological disease. Dr. Jan, Mae, and the entire staff worked hand in hand to ensure my mom was fed, bathed, and as comfortable as possible during her remaining time with us. They coordinated medication and any medical needs with the hospice nurse and doctor.

My wife developed a terminal brain disease at a relatively young (55) and got to the point where I was no longer able to care for her at home. This was the first time that I had ever thought of assisted living.
My daughter found a place and in the first month Diana was almost unrecognizable. When she went in she couldn't speach and was confined to a wheelchair. By the end of the second month she was near death.
So my daughter found Greenfield Assisted Living. We met with Dr Jen and Mae and they did a preliminary exam of Diana and agreed that they could help her.

My husband was in one of the homes run by Greenfield. Although the owner and manager try really hard to make the facilities work well, the caretakers leave a lot to be desired. The caretakers from a (foreign country) often spoke in their native language to each other in front of the residents. I took my husband out when he developed very bad bed sores. Still I was charged for half a month of care. The food was terrible and often only had a couple of tiny pieces of meat with a helping of rice and vegetables. Most of the time sandwiches were served for dinner. On top of these problems, TLC was in
