I made appointments for hair/makeup for my daughters communion day. I expressed that this was a very important day and was going to be having professional photos taken.
When I arrived-I was taken back right away and the makeup artist Nadine was wonderful! My makeup looked great and was waiting for my hair appointment.
I waited and waited - I asked the receptionist a few times how much longer it was going to take. I then heard her say to someone "are you going to take blondie" she was referring to me. This was after 1 hour of waiting past my appointment time. Once I realized how late

I go to salon luxe and get my hair done with Olla. I do dye, hair cuts (which my hair always grows back so quickly and she NEVER gets scissor happy) and recently I've done the Brazilian blowout. As a mom I never have time to fix my hair so when she told me that this would cut my time in half I was sold. It's literally the best thing I've ever done, my hair dries so shiny and straight and I was worried I wouldn't be able to put waves in it because of how straight it dries but that's not the case!! Another thing I love is that she never gossips when you're in her chair

I called to set up an appointment and make sure that my old extensions (beaded) could be used. "No problem," the woman on the phone told me. Sure enough, I get there and am told tape ins are the only choice. I ended up having to buy them there because my hair needed to be done that day for an event. Ooookay, I was going to be spending some $ that day, anyway, so let's move on, not the end of the world.
The man who put the tape ins in said literally less than ten words the entire time. I had an appointment with him 2-3 weeks later because a couple of wefts came loose, which was frustrating

Went in for my 10:30 bridal hair appointment by the owner, I was told she wasn't there yet, so I was waiting for a good 30 mins before I was called in and started on. So I had two ladies start me off by curling my hair and the whole time they were complaining about how the owner who I had an appointment with was always running late and how she wasn't picking up that day, and they could tell tht I was annoyed cuz when I made the appointment a couple of months ahead I made it pretty clear tht I had to be done and out the door by 12 cuz I had a photo shoot to be at by 12:30. This is the only place I go to get my haircut My Barber, Maher, is the ONLY man I will let touch my hair he is so consistent and the BEST barber I've EVER HAD! It's $20 for a hair cut and it's worth EVERY penny. So how good is this place? I currently drive a half an hour there and back just to get my fresh cut. An hour of driving to get an outstanding flawless haircut.

Maher is the man! Best barber in the city, i legit leave work early to come and see him. He always has a lesson for me and honestly i see him as a friend more then anything! For his work i give him 5 Stars but pricing man they raised the pricing for no reason there is nothing extra being done. I used to pay $30 for my hair and beard to get done and would leave a $20 tip. Which comes out to $50 for me which is great for the work that Maher my barber is doing, but now it's $40 which was resides by the establishment and only $10 tip to the barber which isn't fair to him and quit frankly

I love this place and they never ever disappoint. They are busy and sometimes run a little late on my appointment but always offer a free treatment or $ off services and always do specials and appreciate clients. Even when I'm desperate and call in last minute the receptionist and stylists always do their best to accommodate and help. And the whole staff is friendly and makes you feel at home unlike other salons in the city. Definitely love their work, vibes, and definitely recommend!!

I absolutely love this salon! Moving from Canada to Dearborn, it was stressful finding a salon that I could trust for my hair needs. I found the salon on Yelp and decided to give it a try. My first time coming, I booked a hairstyle with Olla for my engagement party. I explained to Olla what I wanted and she suggested that I use extensions to fulfil the look I was going for but assured that it was optional. I agreed with her and I was shocked to learn that salon luxe already had the perfect extension color and length in store for me. I was so happy with the end result and the curls lasted the entire

Best hair and make up !! These Lebanese ladies are amazing, didn't know what to expect since I don't live in Michigan .
Olla did a fabulous job with my hair !!! It was perfect all night , flew back to Florida next day to attend another function and my hair looked great still !
Makeup, can't remember exact name but I think it was Mariana , fabulous also !!

I walked in on a Saturday morning pretty much begging them to take me in because my best friend was getting married that day and I missed my appointments because I worked a 14 hour shift the day before. I was exhausted that day. With no hesitation the ladies at the front were so professional and did everything they could just to make sure i wouldn't disappoint my friend. Right away they got me in to start my make up with Mariana

Hidden gem amongst Dearborn!! I can on a whim to get hair and makeup done for a wedding. I'm from out of town so, I just helped the nearest area next to my hotel, which was the Henry. This popped up so, I made an appointment and hoped for the best... and the best it was! From the staff to the hair and makeup everything was top notch!
Firstly, the other bad yelp reviews are wrong. The staff here are super sweet and go above and beyond to help you. Just superb.
Makeup, amazing. I described what I wanted and left it up to her and she did her magic. I was so pleased with the end result!

I went there on a Monday and I was greeted by a room of workers sitting around and staring at me and my son. Finally, I asked is there a hair stylists available for my son. Some young girl looked bothered and answered that the stylist do not work on Monday. Why were they open? Was I bothering them? My son who is 11 remarked " dad they were so rude there".

I bought a groupon for 3 spray tans for this place. This was my second time ever getting a spray tan, and my first time using the VersaSpa booths. The girl walked me back, showed me where to stand, where the towels were, caps, lotion, etc. the only thing she didn't show me was how to position my arms (which I just guessed at when I was in there). The machine talks to you, tells you when to turn and what not. Just make sure to take your cap off with a paper towel so the spray tan doesn't get all over your hands (I learned the hard way). Overall this place is super clean and my spray tan

Thee worst experience of my life, Ola has no concept of time , she has no respect for the clients time and often you will be waiting for at least an hour before your appointment, not to mention she is horrible with hair , oh man what a disappointment. It will take months for my hair to repair from the damage she has caused !

Booking a hair appointment 2000 miles away, to ensure I get glammed up for my cousin's wedding was definitely a challenge. Thank God my aunt had seen Salon Luxe and stopped in to speak with the girls to see if they would be able to assist/accommodate us the morning of the wedding -- the answer was yes!
I called Salon Luxe and spoke with Lauren, who was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. She booked all 5 of us for the morning of the wedding, and said to be there at 7am, even though the salon didn't open until 10am on Sundays, they made an exception for us to ensure we could be done
