I was as a private-duty nurse for the Greenwich Hospital Nurses' Registry before moving to Litchfield County in 1978. Once here, I found there was not an organized source of carefully selected and screened care providers. It was the vulnerability of our elderly community members that compelled me to fill this need.

At Litchfield Hills Home Care, Inc., we take care to provide high-quality referral services personalized for each Client's unique needs. Our staff members are professional, courteous and efficient. Our services may be provided in the Client's home, Assisted Living Community, Extended Care Facility or Hospital.
Recently we were contacted by Charlotte Hungerford Hospital directly to arrange for the care of a valued staff member because they "wanted the very best for her". Thank you so much for your tremendous thoughtfulness and wonderful work to bring such dedicated help to us at such a difficult, yet important, time for my dad & me.
