Having over 25 years experience in caring for children as both a teacher and provider, I believe that this style of family care allows me the opportunity to get closer to my little ones and cater to each of my family's needs.

My name is Liesl (pronounced Lee-Sul) and I was born in SanFransisco in 1967. The 2nd of 6 children (I have one older sister and 4 younger brothers), my father was a Pediatrician (good choice with 6 kids!) and my mother was a stay at home Mom. Over the years I have lived in Philadelphia and New York City as I pursued a professional career as a ballet dancer.
Our two children thrived in their toddler years with Liesl in Oakland - I'm so excited she has opened a place in Davis. We highly recommend Liesl and Liesl's House. I recently visited Liesl's House, and was so, so impressed. Tastefully and cheerfully decorated, this light filled house on a quiet street was full of enriching and enjoyable equipment: toys, books, and child size furniture.
