They refinished a 30+ year old oak staircase and its oak railing plus an adjacent oak balcony railing overlooking our living room for which a total of 40 spindles were replaced and 40 added to raise the heights and narrow the spindle spacings to code. The original mounting boards and hand rails were kept.

We recently bought a circa 1800 Colonial home and the old Pumpkin Pine flooring throughout was one of our favorite things about it. However the floors needed refinishing and we were nervous that refinishing them would alter their beautiful color. We decided to use Lion Wood Floors to do the job and we couldn’t be more happy with the results! The floors turned out totally amazing keeping the color we really loved. Ron and Helene did a fantastic job for us including doing it at a price we were very happy with.

I used Lion Hardwoods for my new home that we bought in Mendham November 2019 to refinish the entire first floor of our home which was over 2700 sq feet. From the very first interaction with them coming out to see the job to give me a quote till the very end of the job I was impressed with their professionalism, experience, understanding and listening of what we were looking for. In the end, I was very pleased with my floors and I highly recommend them. We plan to use them again to install Hardwoods in our upstairs in the future.

Heline promptly returned my calls and visited with me in person on (2) occasions and multiple texts and phone calls to ensure that I had all of the information I needed to make a sound decision between refinishing my existing floors versus installing new flooring. We were extremely impressed with husband and wife partners Helene and Ron of Lion Wood Floors. They were professional and extremely knowledgeable. They helped us select the right stain for our floors and their recommendations about what to do in every corner of the house were spot-on. They delivered what they promised on schedule and at a fair price. Their crew worked extremely hard during the job and Ron was diligent about oversight. When we walked through the house after the job was over and the floors were dry we were absolutely blown away at how great it looked. We would recommend this

From start to finish we were extremely impressed by Lion Wood Floor's service and professionalism. When I called to make an appointment, Helene returned my call immediately and scheduled an appointment for the next day. She showed up promptly at the time she had scheduled for our appointment. She even called while on the way to let us know she was on the way, even though she was going to be on time.
