I'm an Austin-based licensed psychologist who offers individual counseling in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. I'm dedicated to helping you work through issues and obstacles related to your relationships, career, family, and future. My solution-focused style blends cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques with an interpersonal approach to psychotherapy.
That means I don't just listen to your problems - I work with you to improve them. I can help with everything from anxiety and depression, to changing the way you cope with life's challenges and building your confidence. My goal is to nurture a strong therapeutic relationship that will instill hope and create a tangible difference in your daily life.

I earned my undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees in psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. My doctoral training included an internship at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and a fellowship at Children's Medical Center of Dallas. After completing my licensure in 2008, I returned to Austin to open a private psychology practice in my favorite city.
Austin's position as a university town, state capitol and technology hub has created a unique population. I love the variety this brings: students, artists, government workers, young professionals, tech executives and out-of-state transplants all live and interact here. I have developed a special interest in working with new mothers, women coping with infertility, and women with postpartum mood disorders.
