Services
Since 1981, Greater Trenton Behavioral HealthCare (GTBHC) has helped tens of thousands of Mercer County residents find innovative, life-enhancing solutions to their mental health and substance abuse problems. During this period, we have earned the trust of those whom we serve, and the confidence of our funding sources, who have increased their investment in our services by more than tenfold.
Greater Trenton Behavioral HealthCare helps individuals, families and communities of diverse needs and cultures manage life's challenges, including emotional stressers, mental illness and addictions. Our goal is to improve the quality of life, by providing the highest quality services that are innovative, culturally sensitive, affordable and well-matched to individual needs.
We provide a broad array of mental health and addictions services to youth and adult residents of Mercer County and their families. Services include intensive day treatment; crisis-oriented outreach and in-home services; outpatient services; and a variety of services for people with special needs. Emergency on-call services are available 24 hours a day 7 days per week for those at the highest risk of crisis.
Everyone faced money worries, but not everyone thought about their effect on mental health. How can the negative effects of financial stress be reduced and what does the research say about this? We would like to make it quite clear that 1-2 small payday loans in Oregon usually do not affect your mental health.
According to GTBHC, characteristic signs of a mental or behavioral disorder are thinking, mood or behavior disorders that go beyond existing cultural beliefs and norms. In most cases, these symptoms are associated with the depressed state of a person and prevent them from performing their functions.
