Elder's Journey began when Ann Harrison, a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience, and Doug Johnson realized a need in the community for medical services that help clients and their families get the care they need in their own home. At Elder's Journey, we believe that everyone deserves the highest quality and dependable care.
With that in mind, we developed a team of highly trained RNs, LPNs and HHAs to provide the very best possible care for you or your loved one. We understand trusting someone in your home is a difficult decision to make. Our staff is insured, bonded and has a criminal background check done ensuring that a knowledgeable, dependable and trusted staff member is providing care to you or your loved one.

Not the Co. to use if you have serious health problems or Disabilities. Loved the Co. until l reported someone for sitting on the couch texting the entire shift and was in turn fired myself as a client for making a report. I was informed some places do anything and everything to keep their appearance up no matter how many people it hurts and endangers. Expect an unusual amount of thefts and no-shows and TONS of damage to your property that is not missing. Come in knowing you require $1000s a week for damages and thefts.

I am a state certified Home Health Aide and I worked for Elder's Journey Home Care from January 2016 through July 2016. The only reason I left Elder's Journey was because I had to move to a new state. If I could, I would stay with them forever. Working for Elder's Journey was a rewarding experience. As someone who has worked in the industry, I can say that you won't find better standards for quality of care anywhere else. I also feel that as a small, local company, Elder's Journey invests a lot more in the community than a franchised home care company. There are many agencies that offer in-home

Totally untrained. They may be fine as companions but even one of them commented that the training they got at Golden Living was no more than watching someone use a lift and cleaning tables! Looking elsewhere for help. Unfortunately, Area 10 "says" this is the only local agency in Bloomington who is approved. That's scary!!!
