Cawley Physical Therapy is committed to providing each patient with the most personal, comprehensive, and individualized skilled physical therapy services. Our physical therapists in NEPA treat all types of orthopedic-related conditions and are trained in treating neurological issues with balance, walking, headaches, and jaw-related disorders.

Cawley Physical Therapy offers individualized rehab programs that are tailored to your specific problem. We treat the cause, not the symptoms. Our doctors provide one-on-one care, and 90% of our patients experience successful outcomes from treatment. We understand that every person may require different treatment, even when they approach us with the same symptoms.
Services
Cawley Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation is a family owned and operated business, started in 2003 by Courtney E. and Frank J. Cawley MPT. Courtney received her B.S. degree in Sociology and Psychology from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. Frank received his B.S. in Biology from East Stroudsburg University in 1996 then went on to receive his masters in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA in 1999.
From auto injuries to getting you ready to return to work, our specialists are capable of treating a wide array of conditions pertaining to nearly all body regions. Some of our areas of expertise are detailed below. Common complaints include the inability to sleep long durations; unable to lay on the painful side.
Car accidents cause a great deal of destruction in a matter of seconds. When you are least expecting it, another motorist can slam into your vehicle and injure you, sometimes badly. After you have sought emergency medical attention, you might be left with lingering injuries that cause you great pain and discomfort in your daily life.
Work injuries can be especially troublesome for people when all they want to do is return to work and get back to normal. However, as we know at Cawley Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation, trying to get right back to work before an injury has fully healed will likely make things worse.

If you want to maximize your potential for continuing to be productive in the future, then we strongly recommend seeking work injury physical therapy as soon as possible after getting hurt. That last point is important. The sooner you receive help for your injury, the better off you will be. Cawley Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation provides work injury rehabilitation in NEPA for hundreds of patients every year.
Everyone expects some recovery time following surgery. Depending on how invasive the procedure was, you might be facing several months of soreness, weakness, and the inability to do all the things you once did. Those activities could include even walking, standing, or sitting. Those kinds of handicaps after surgery are no surprise.

I started going to Cawley Rehab for whiplash. I was getting alot of headaches / migranes. I have had a stiff neck and achy shoulder and wasn't sleeping. I have to say the entire staff at the Kingston location are totally amazing. They are thorough, very knowledgeable and excellent at what they do. I felt calmness just on my first visit. And have seen and felt the progress that I have been making. Exercises they gave me at first no longer hurt. My range of motion with my neck is remarkable. I thought the pain in my neck that was achy and deep was going to be permanent. But now that pain is ending

I had been suffering with pain radiating from my left shoulder down my arm for a few months. Cawley physical therapy was recommended by a friend. They have several convient locations so I called for an evaluation at the Kingston location. I met with Heather and after an evaluation she determined I had a level 1 rotator cuff tear plus my shoulder was all knots as well. After just 3 weeks working with Heather , Kaitlyn, and Josh my pain is reduced, almost gone and I am beginning to get my range of motion back. I am thrilled with my results so far. I highly recommend Cawley Physical Therapy.

Hi, just wanting to share how awesome the care and treatment is at Cawley Physical Therapy, Kingston. I was referred there by a local ENT Physician since I was having a TMJ issue. Later, I choose to have treatment at their site for other presenting issues. Heather and her support Staff work diligently to ease your pain and discomfort, treat you with respect and work with everything from your limitations to your insurance constraints to make the program work for you. Kudos to this branch of Cawley Physical Therapy.
I wish that you offered other PT modalities and treatments at this site since I

I can only speak for the staff at the Kingston office, and I can not say enough about these professional physical therapists! It is not my first time either, but it is the place I immediately requested from my surgeon for my post total hip replacement therapy! I have had the best treatment there and their attitude, disposition, and just their overall personalities make it a pleasure to go there! They have helped me greatly in my progress to get back to normal function, and push me when they know I need it! Best bar none!

As a physical therapist I am fussy about where I go for therapy. When I injured my back and was unable to work and could barely walk, Cawley Rehab was my choice. They did an amazing job and got me going within several weeks. I have total respect for the staff and recommend Cawley to anyone that asks me for a professional opinion.
