Child Care Aware of NWA is a non-profit organization that is a resource center for families and child care providers. We provide child care referrals in 17 counties in Northwest Arkansas, the River Valley, and Southcentral Arkansas. Other services include parenting classes, child care provider education, training and professional development opportunities.

We also host the Healthy Families Benton County Home Visiting Program. All services are free to you and the community. Finding child care is stressful. Let us give you the tools to help your family find quality child care, so you can have peace of mind while you work! Opening a child care business can be overwhelming, but we provide useful tools and resources for success as you begin your career as a child care provider.

From Fort Smith, AR, head east on Highway 22 (Rogers Ave.) passing through Barling, AR and underneath the unopened overpass for future Interstate 49. Turn South (Right) immediately past the large Rail Road crossing onto Mahogany Ave (the old entrance to Fort Chaffee). Continue down Mahogany Ave for 0.4 miles.
We can assist you in locating child care options in seventeen different counties: Benton, Boone, Carroll, Cleveland, Crawford, Drew, Franklin, Johnson, Lincoln, Logan, Madison, Newton, Pope, Sebastian, Scott, Washington, and Yell. 1. Start looking early. Many facilities have waiting lists, so research your options before the new baby arrives.
