JRH Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc. has provided Civil Engineering & Land Development Services to small developers, design build contractors, commercial site developers, commercial franchise owners, industrial contractors, and general contractors in Texas since 2009. Over the last few years, the City of Houston and surrounding areas have been requiring grading/drainage plans for lots not located in a master planned community including lots that were previously developed (tear down homes). Many of these lots are located in the FEMA flood zone "AE" (100-year flood plain).
Your project may qualify for a nation wide permit, or may have to permitted under a general or individual permit. Our Firm can help with your Section 404 and Section 10 permit and Phase 1 Environmental study. Constructed wetlands can help with rainwater run-off purification and reduces nitrogen/phosphorous levels that ends up our oceans!.
New Commercial projects located in Harris County now require Detention Ponds with Storm Water Quality Control Features. These features help regulate and control flooding and poor water quality. Harris County REQUIRES Annual Inspections in order to renew permits each year. JRH takes the hassle out of the inspection and permit renewal process and performs the entire process for property owners.

I have been working with JRH Engineering, particularly Tanya, in getting an Association's SWQ Permit renewed. She has been extremely helpful throughout this whole process and was able to answer my questions very quickly. There was even a point where Tanya was out of the office and she called me to answer a question because she knew it was time sensitive. I highly recommend this company and I know we will continue to use them in the future for the Association's needs.

It is nice to have a professional consultant who offers great service and clear communication. Jason and Jennifer will review the project requirements with you and develop solutions with their office to address project needs.
They keep you updated as the project is being developed and will ask questions when clarification is needed. I have noticed that over the years, when they give a day in which the drawings will be ready - THEY MAKE IT HAPPEN.

I have used JRH on many projects. They are very capable of handling Tilt Wall, Metal Buildings, Homes, and Entire residential subdivisions. They provide both Civil and Structural design, Windstorm inspection, Construction management, and much more. I would highly recommend JHR. They are not only highly qualified, but also affordable.
