I have not been to this scrap yard just because I'm just seeing I on Google. Although all the comments about bad prices or not much pay well aluminum cans never pay as much as you'd expect for the amount being brought in now if the price is such a big deal save coper wire insulated or not save all coper or brass. Just a 5 gallon bucket could bring as much as $100 to $160 that is like 40 to 50 lbs of coper but still pays way better $3.63 a lb . Some coper you have to have a business license that's if you strip the insulation off of it .. anyways have good day

I called Recyco on Monday for a quote for aluminum. .50 lb. A stranger at my VA appointment recommended I proceed down 6th ave to Arizona Recycles. Big mistake. Az Recycle is located in middle of nowhere and were only paying.40 lb. I wish Recyco had told me they were located beside the American Legion Post 36 which I am a member of. .10 lb would have made a nice difference since I had a truck load.

PROS: Fast service, attendant was right there. On the east side of town compared to all other buyers.
CONS: No rest room available, massivly low price paid (scuba tank, 32 pounds of of pretty solid 6351 Aluminum, $11 and change during a can price time of a couple x.s that much ((.37 cents per pound was paid))). Worthwhile in my view to proceed on the bus down to the buyers on Ajo, feel rather abused on this sale and I REALLY needed a restroom. I wish I had not tried them out.
EDIT: Reply to bus. managers reply claiming the scuba tank was not 6351, it was 6351 and anyone can see with the most

The service was cut and dry, that's why I gave any stars at all. The guy on the forklift acknowledged me and tried to send the other guy to greet me... He didn't. Forklift guy told me to bring my metal to one spot. I did. Then nothing for about 5 minutes. I finally walked into the shop and the other guy just pointed at a scale. Said nothing to me for the rest of the experience. Handed me my money and I left. The lady on the phone was okay, but the shop seems rinky dink.

Friendly, efficient, helpful staff, & very convenient. I never have a lot of cans, but am always treated as though my small bags are just as important to be dealt with as the people who come with truck-loads. The exchange rate seems fair, considering how many people are fine just to throw away what Recyco gladly pays for. I have never been hassled about any aspect of the process, & would like to encourage others to try it out. Helping a local business, keeping material out of the landfills, & getting a bit of cash on the side in an easy way...what's not to like?

First time here and Sebastian and staff were friendly and helpful.
Explained the process and my 4 wheels were weighed and the "paperwork" promptly done.
I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. All in all an excellent experience.
I would suggest using these folks especially if youre on the east side.

I pick aluminum cans on my morning walk, and I save the ones from soda we drink at home. I usually take 5-6 kitchen sized trash bags full. Yes, I could get a few more cents a pound if I drove across town, but I live on the eastside and this place is more convenient. I have always had a nice experience with these folks, so I have no complaints. The place could be a bit cleaner (thus 4 stars instead of 5), but over all I am happy with this business and I will keep taking my bags of crushed cans to them.
