A Scrap Metal Selling Business can be very lucrative, but doesn't come without it's own sets of obstacles and formalities. Whether it's determining types of scrap metal or selling and recycling needs. We service primarily two areas, the individual and businesses. Each area has its own rules, from fingerprinting to separating metals.
The price of scrap metal trades much like the stock market does. This means the spot price that you might receive for your scrap metals today could be very different tomorrow. Scrap metal prices are dictated by supply and demand, so the prices in New York can be different than the prices in Tucson.
With so many Tucson scrap metal services in the area, it's important to learn what to know about scrap metal selling. Its tough to decide who to use when it's time to sell your scrap. It generally boils down to one thing, money. Before that though, there are other options to consider, lets start with location.
Determining if you have a ferrous metals or non ferrous metal and separating it is an important step before bringing your scrap metal to be recycled. The easiest way to figure out what kind of metal you have is by using a magnet. Any magnet will work, including children's magnets or refrigerator type magnets.

Always treated fairly here. Found some nice items in the repurpose pile. Always nice when I don't have to pay full price for any of the metal I use for my projects

Dishonest business. Called for pricing on metals, but then paid a different price at the counter. Also, if you have good clean aluminum, but have a couple steel hard to remove bolts (or 1 rubber gasket), they call the whole thing dirty aluminum (or they "estimate" dirty weight). Then, I asked why the price was different from quote on phone, but he said they have been paying that price for a while. So I asked him, why don't u post your prices online? He said, "market prices change daily". Do I need to say more?
