The stay here has been a delight considering the stipulations COVID-19 has put on almost every establishment. The ambiance was very nice and relaxing , the food was good considering only one restaurant was open during my stay but drinks were great. If you visit while the country isn't on lockdown you will have a wonderful time in the downtown area if you decide to leave the resort. The resort beach is beautiful and calm. During the stay the bar stayed open until the last man left, the massages were amazing , the pool was nice the shower was great and the ocean view was an experience. Service

Super cool hotel in the central part of Curaçao. It is an older hotel, but the decor in the rooms is updated. It also has 2 private beaches and a nice pool. The grounds are spacious and you don't feel like you're tripping over guests. Although we visited just before season started, so maybe that's why. It's NOT all inclusive, but the prices with the USD exchange rate are pretty decent. Except breakfast. That's a buffet and it's over $22USD and really not that great in my opinion. Hotel is good but could have better service. Food was adequate at best. Breakfast is their best meal. Very unhappy with checkout process! Transfer to airport not done well and unwillingness of hotel to help with process even though we paid hotel for this service. Also told we could use showers before we left But was not available because of limited capacity.

We chose the Avila to celebrate my friends 40th Birthday. I'm so happy we did. We recieved an email from Germaine warning us that the pool would be closed due to construction during our stay but we contacted Germaine to confirm that the noise would not be heard from our apartment at the Belle Alliance. She reassured us that everything would work out and It would not disturb our vacation. She was very pleasant and professional. We were kinda bummed about the pool as it looked gorgeous but we knew we were heading to an island with 26 beaches. A lack of a pool won't ruin your trip.

I get the feeling that Avila Beach Hotel is a good hotel in Curacao terms, but it wouldn't be a top choice for me if it was located in any other Caribbean island. The venue could use a few property upgrades, the beach is man-made, there is only one pool, the fitness center has limited hours, and the food is pricey. Additionally, the breakfast is NOT good, and they won't let you cancel the breakfast if you've reserved it along with the hotel. That was really a stinger. However, the location of the hotel is great. You are close to better restaurants at better prices than the ones at

This is a gorgeous hotel with a great beach. We are staying at another hotel in the neighborhood but came to take advantage of the Budget Rent A Car desk, as well as the view. The staff are great - very friendly and super helpful, especially because, like I said, we're not their guests. The restaurant menu looks pretty amazing, so hopefully we'll be able to come back!

Upscale property with two private beaches, pool, jacuzzi. Has 3 on site restaurants and beach bar. Stay in the blues wing, second floor with an odd room number to guarantee nightly sunsets from your private deck. Friendly and attentive staff, comfy beds and amazing 360 views. Plenty of free parking. Coffee machine is a bit tricky to figure out, shower water escapes out on to bathroom floor and most days room service isn't completed before 4pm. NBD as we were out and about all day anyway. Would stay here again and recommend to anybody.
