Five Star Mortgage Solutions is a local, family-owned mortgage company that works to get you a high-quality mortgage and works with you to get the lowest rate available to you. Founded by Corey Howard, Five Star Mortgage Solutions is an established small town community business and has been a hometown fixture on Main Street in Mooresville since 2007.
Corey started his finance career in 2002 when he began working for Ace Mortgage Funding. Corey quickly became one of the top 10 loan originators in the company helping clients achieve their homeownership goals. In 2007 Corey recognized the need for a mortgage broker on the southwest side of Indianapolis and opened Five Star Mortgage Solutions in downtown Mooresville.
Loan Term - The number of years over which you will repay the loan. The most common terms are 15 years and 30 years. If this loan has a balloon payment, the term will be shorter than the number of years to amortize the loan or pay it down to zero. For example, a loan with a 5 year term amortized over 30 years will have the same monthly payment as a 30 year loan with the same interest rate.

I used five star mortgage to purchase my first home. I learned of them thru a referral, that referral was also referred to by his friend. I was very pleased with the service including keeping me up to date on status, emailed information and educating me on the process. Christie and Corey were very patient with all my questions and concerns I might have had. Corey went above and beyond for several prior helping me getting my credit right and locking in my best rate (which ended up being way better than previously expected). I will always recommend and refer people to this mortgage company. Thanks

I cannot recommend Five Star Mortgage or Corey unless you have extremely unique financing needs, and even then shop around first. We were told that we would be within a few days of our contract closing date and instead we are 20 days past it and still no closing date set. Corey can get you the loan but he is very poor and slow at communicating. He did however get a great rate for the circumstances the loan. He can get it done the question is how much frustration and disappointment are you willing to tolerate to get your loan.
