Buying a home is, for many of us, the biggest single investment we'll ever make. Knowing this, most homeowners provide for the security and safekeeping of their homes by insuring them against hazards such as fire, theft and weather damage. But there is another hazard that can pose an even greater risk to homeownership.
Defects in the title to your property can cause you to lose part or all of the investment in your home. When you call Brabazon, you'll be assured of friendly, personalized service delivered by a team of dedicated title insurance professionals. It's the way we've been doing business since Gene Brabazon first opened the doors of Brabazon Title in 1977.

Services
For over 35 years, Brabazon Title has provided friendly, accurate and reliable real estate title insurance services to clients in Wisconsin and Illinois. At Brabazon, we offer title and settlement services for residential and commercial real estate transactions; as well as refinance, equity and construction loans.
Title insurance protects you against hidden hazards and human error that can cause problems in any real estate transaction. When you purchase title insurance, experienced title examiners perform a thorough title search by searching appropriate public records, but there may be significant problems with title that cannot be detected.
Brabazon Title offers professional escrow settlement services for residential and commercial real estate transactions. In this capacity, as the settlement agent, we hold legal documents and funds on behalf of both the buyer and seller, and distribute them according to the buyer's and seller's instructions.
Consider the advantages of a 1031 exchange. When you sell an investment property, you are required to pay taxes on your capital gains - not equity or profit. That means, even if you don't realize much profit, you may still owe substantial capital gain taxes.
By utilizing Brabazon as your "Qualified Intermediary" and escrow service, you can comply with Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code for tax deferred investment property sales when purchasing a qualifying, new property.

The lady in charge was out of the office. The man who I attempted to speak with regarding an issue was beyond rude, going so far as to call me sir (I am a woman) and ask me why I was even telling him my issue. Then when I said I wanted to leave a message for the person who is his boss instead of continue being treated horrible by him he lied and said there was no one above him in the chain of command. The receptionist however was very nice and attempted to apologize and help me however she could. Not sure that man should be allowed to speak with customers...

I can't remember the name of the woman who helped us (Kate, Katie..?) But she helped us close on a house. We got there early and she started with us early. She was very personable and kind but also efficient at her job. We got all the papers signed smoothly because she was able to effectively convey the information on all the paperwork. Wonderful place, I highly recommend it.
