It was Ryan, not sure if is was the owner but he was so calm and professional and I really needed to hear that. If your stopped on side of road, it's alwaws best to be seen by other drivers so they can avoid you, turn on your flashers. Try to move your vehicle to the right-hand side of the road out of the direction of traffic. Stationing yourself on a divided highway's left side is extremely dangerous but sometimes unavoidable.
Hauling cars and trucks to Denver is a very common occurrence for us. We transport an average of six vehicles per day out of the Rocky Mountain either east through Idaho Springs or West through Vail. It seems the reason for this is because Summit County is one of the large tourist destinations in Colorado.
Vehicles in the Rocky Mountains tend to have a hard time starting in the winter. There are a number of reasons for this; most of them have to do with the high altitude and cold weather. Starting a vehicle in cold weather puts a lot of strain on a battery. All of the different fluids in and around the engine are thicker due to the cold temperatures.
Unlocking automobiles is a service Ryan's Recovery provides. This is not a service we take lightly, nor should you. When a person becomes locked out of their vehicle there are ways to open it up. But keep in mind that your vehicle was never intended to be broken into. In fact, the car manufactures try to make vehicles so they can not be broken into or stolen.
When it comes to off-road recoveries many tow companies claim they have a truck capable of doing off-road recoveries. This may be true but what they have may not be able to get you out of every situation. Here at Ryan's Recovery, one of our specialties is the off-road recovery.

Holly was very kind and helpful when we called and explained everything thoroughly with using our Aaa service in conjunction with Ryan's Recovery. When Ryan our Tow truck driver called to say he was on his way he was very polite and when he arrived he was 100% professional, kind, patient and reassuring. He helped us twice during our stay in Breck and literally went the extra mile to ensure our safety and confidence that we would be okay with helpful directions, a good sense of humor and a very thoughtful positive attitude. We were very appreciative that Ryan saved the day.

I was beyond impressed with this company and the driver that came to tow our car after an accident. I wish I could remember his name but he was very professional and helpful. In fact, he suggested we contact AAA to up our coverage so we could tow the vehicle for more than our normal 7 miles. He had no problem towing the vehicle all the way down to the Front Range from Copper. I hope to not need a towing company again, but if I do I would not hesitate to us Ryan's Recovery.

Ryan’s Recovery is the best! We ended up needing help twice within a week. First time along I-70 near Frisco with our truck and RV. Tow driver Brandon saw us and stopped. He was so helpful, professional and informative. Letting us know of triple A’s procedure and he really set our minds at ease. He towed our truck AND RV to Leadville where family members met us to help out. Then the following week we had to call them again for the same unit. My car's engine blew up going up I70 almost to the summit. So i called AAA and they sent Lucas out to tow my car. But the whole mountain was booked for two weeks solid. So i decided to scrap the car. Lucas helped me tremendously with getting my car sold quickly for a reasonable price AND drive me 81 miles into Denver with my belongings. He truly made this disaster easier to deal with. Outstanding service and very professional staff. Highly recommended if you need anything towed or scrapped. THANK YOU LUCAS!!!!

This is the first time I had to have my car towed and it was a great experience! My engine started smoking near Eisenhower Tunnel. After parking on the side of I 70, I called AAA who referred me to Ryan's Recovery.
Ryan was extremely helpful advising me on my AAA membership towing policy and how to maximize my benefits! And, they were very prompt and careful when towing my car all the way to Denver. The driver, Adam was very professional and full of great advice on driving and safety tips in and around the Front Range. Also, his sweet doggie, Ruckus was a great traveling companion. Was driving to Denver with my mom when my back passenger tire deflated on I-70 literally an hour before getting to my destination. I called AAA and was told we would have to wait until 10:20pm for a tow truck and at the time it was 8:30pm. And as we are sitting in the car not even 20 minutes go by when Nick from Ryan’s Recovery drives up behind us and engages with us. He even helped us change the location of our drop off. He loaded the car up on the tow truck and drove us. Nick was very courteous and generous. He was quick yet professional. He had a warm demeanor about him and I’m grateful

My car broke down on Eisenhower pass and within a few minutes the tow truck was behind me, without me even calling! What a great service for stranded motorists! Dropped my rental car keys down an elevator shaft, and I had no idea what I was going to do. I basically tried everyone option, and on the last night, I stumbled upon them via Google. They towed my car back and dropped it off at the rental company, so I was able to catch my flight with no worry. With AAA+ it was free, and a true lifesaver. Hopefully, I never need to use them again, but if I do, and I'm in this area.... they are my go to!!!!!!

Yesterday my dad‘s truck broke down on I 70 just before Eisenhower tunnel. We were trying to figure out what the heck to do. Then I went over to Little Creek and was trying to get water for the radiator and this tow truck pulled up. I swear it was God sent. The driver’s name was Shane. Truly an awesome fella very very nice and helpful. He took care… of us. He towed us to Silverthorne where we traded tow trucks. And the next driver was named Nick very awesome fella as well very nice he took us all the way to our destination. I thank God for those two.

I was traveling to Denver when my Jeep decided to die in one of the worse spots on I-70. I was able to go in reverse and pull over on a safe spot. I called my insurance and I was told they only covered 15mi. I was 100 miles from home. I was told it would cost me over $500 to get my car home. Without a choice I agreed. I received a call from Luke with Ryan's Recovery telling me he was on his way. He showed up sooner than I thought which was great because it was less than 50 min which is what the insurance had told me. He advised me to contact AAA so I did and I needed up paying less than the

I could not ask for better service, both over the phone and in person. It initially appeared that I was going to need a tow all the way back to Denver, which would have been quite expensive. Before loading the car on the truck, though, they looked into alternative explanations for what could be causing the trouble and they were able to fix it on the spot. Trust established, and real help provided. What more can one ask for?

Kyle from Ryan's Rescue rescued us from the side of I-70 on a Saturday afternoon. He and his two (adorable!) hound dogs towed us into town to get repaired. Kyle was kind enough to offer suggestions of things to do if we got stuck in town AND recommended some additional ideas if the repair shop in the little town couldn't help us out. Really a wonderful person to have assist us during a breakdown.

Once again appalled by the service from Ryan's recovery.
My roommate's car was dead and when the Ryan's recovery driver arrived and jumping the car didn't work he told us "I don't know that much about cars." Clearly not in the correct line of work then. He then left and we were left in the same position we were before.
Now the second time I have been extremely disappointed. Too bad they are basically the only service here in the county...

We were put in touch with Ryan's Recovery through AAA. After losing our rental car keys on the slopes somewhere in Keystone, Evan came out to tow our car to the nearest dealership to hopefully get new keys programmed. Unfortunately that didn't work out and Evan was proactive in figuring out alternatives. While we tried talking to the rental company, he drove us to a location within 7 miles (free with basic AAA roadside assistance) so that we could get lunch, watch a movie, shop a little while waiting for what we had to do - get a locksmith.
