All the staff I interacted with were great & very pleasant, seem to care and really listen to the patients. The doctor on the other hand did not seem to. After paying $200, he looked at my eyes for maybe a couple minutes after my optometrist looked at my eyes extensively and wrote a very detailed referral about all the vision issues and pain I had been having including seeing early stage cataracts. But the doctor here seemed to brush everything off and didn't seem to care to really go over any symptoms except for one of the visual issues I had been having. Now I'm left $200 short

First (and last) visit here. Don't see why you have to make an appointment when the wait times are horrible. The initial associate that did all the eye exams was very helpful. The actual eye doctor that I spoke with wasn't that helpful. She said that my doctor only referred me to their clinic for a healthy eye exam and not to a vision exam for lenses (??). I had already told them that I know my glasses need a new prescription but she didn't give me one. Told me to go and get over-the-counter readers, and to try on a few until I found the ones I need. And that she couldn't give

I had an appointment on Aug 25. I didn't see Dr winston, saw one of his associates..ordered just readers..was told they would be in in a week, called on Sept 9, now I'm told 4 to 6 weeks more..wth? associate said my vision problems are mostly from dry eyes, but gave no suggestions, information, help, advice on what to do for dry eyes...but do call if I notice more floaters..what can you do but laugh at the mediocrity of it all??

I paid my first visit ever to Winston Eye Care. I was there to see Dr. Luu. The gentlemen that greeted me at the front desk were friendly, fast, professional and instructive. I was greeted by an assistant whose name I didn't get but she had a blonde pony tail!! She was absolutely magnificent!! She was professional, friendly, took me through every step so I understood what each procedure was for. Most importantly to me, she made me feel that my eye issue would be resolved!! I received a referral from my primary care physician after I had blurry vision in an eye. I had a regular eye exam and a growth was observed in one eye. One return visit a couple of days later for the procedure to have it removed surgically. Another follow-up visit a short time later and I was informed everything was good and that the growth was not cancerous.

I went to my appointment today only to be met with indifference. I waited I paid my co-pay, then when the assistant came to get me for my appointment he notice my mask was not over my nose and said it has to be over your nose. I attempted to explain that I have a breathing problem which is not something I have to explain due to medical privilege. I was denied my visit by the manager according to a procedure put in place by unlawful means. No one has voted certainly not I for giving away my rights under the Constitution of the United States of America. So as such I will take my business elsewhere

Medical care is ok. Literally never on time. Will allow me to accompany my elderly grandmother to see the doc. Specialist doc is eager to leave the moment she walked in. Grandmother had a procedure done, then weeks later at the check up they gave me the page of side effects and info because it's an "off label" treatment for her particular problem. I found this odd being that it is off label treatment I would think they would need the waver prior to treatment. Not only that we were not educated on the side effects in order to make a calculated decision as to if we wanted this treatment

I have a serious issue with my eyesight which has to be monitored every three months and wasn't happy with my previous eye care center so I changed after 15 years and I can't start to tell you how incredibly satisfied I am with the personal care and incredible attention I've received ever since I became a patient from Doctor's, Technicians and staff, I'm very please and very happy with My Dr's. This is a great place to bring your kids as patients as well as your grandparents, besides yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Our family has been coming here for years. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. They also have a great selection of glasses.
I recently had my visit with Dr. Luu. He was so sweet and so professional. He is also a bit funny which makes you feel relaxed and makes your visit enjoyable.
I also met with the staff that helps you pick out your glasses. They are all so nice and helpful and easy to talk to.

Best eye center, ever!
I've been here for the past several years. Everyone is so great and friendly! From the receptionist to the technicians to the Dr. Louie and to the optical center (Mary and Beatrice. I'm so thankful and love this place so much that I make a drive to the OC from the Inland Empire. It's so worth it!

I called to inquire about my contact prescription, specifically the numbers for each eye. The receptionist lady said she couldn't give me information on my prescription because it was expired. Which fine I don't NEED the prescription I just asked for the numbers. I couldn't remember and I needed them to tell me. She said the optometrist would call me back. That was two weeks ago and no call. I figured I wouldn't get a call back because she sounded bothered and was quick to end the call. and wouldnt r. Thanks!! I'll be going somewhere else now. Each appointment in pre-op is guaranteed to go over 2.5 hrs! They flood the appointment book and hold people hostage in the clinic for almost 3 hours per appointment. Now sitting in a 4th consultation room after getting stationed in 3 other rooms to make the overbooking seem to go by quick. More appointments, more money. They won't care if you stayed ridiculously long wasting your time waiting because they billed your insurance already. Their office staff offer water like that is going to compensate for wasted hours. This is my 2nd time here. I'm here because my prescription was not correct. My appt was scheduled for 3:30pm. It's now after 4pm. These people have no respect for time. Super inefficient.
Plus, why can't they give me the correct prescription?
I've spent more than $629 on a pair of prescription eye glasses and I can't see far with them!!!
I thank god that I don't have a serious problem with my eyes because this place doesn't seem like a good place to get care.

I've been with Dr. Winston & his group for 4 years. I've had both eyes (cataract) surgeries 4 years ago. Discovered last month had a 2nd cataract in right eye, had laser surgery done. I've got dry eye syndrome in both eyes & they're treating me currently. They are very good & make sure you are alright💙😍🌠💫🌟☺

Don't go here to chit chat with the doctor. Don't go here expecting them to be on time. Of necessity, they work in urgent cases. One day that case may be you.
Go here to get a check up, a diagnosis, an effective treatment, glasses and, if needed, a surgery that corrects the problem. My eye, which had clouded vision, can see clearly now. In my opinion, Dr. Winston is an eminent surgeon.

The office is very clean. I'm only giving 3 stars because the receptionist (Please don't get me wrong they are very nice) they should ask if patients has vision insurance before charging it to medical insurance to collect medical insurance co-copay . My husband has VSP plan but they collected $40 co-pay from our medical insurance instead at the end they refunded $30 but instead of electronic check they still need the atm because the person that needs to sign for check refund is not in. My take is this their should be more that more one person that can sign so they don't need to as

My ophthalmologist retired, so I was referred to Winston eye care. Im glad because it's closer to my house and I've taken my dad here before because his doctor is Dr. Luu. It's a nice office, very clean, and they have a lot of examination rooms and several doctors. They are always busy, but the front desk staff is very friendly. The assistants that do the tests prior to you seeing the doctors are also very friendly.
The waiting time when you arrive for your appointment is usually not that long, but it does take a while when you are getting your tests done and before you see

I had my eye exam with Dr. Dang, he was very nice and friendly. But when I got to the optical the lady was no where interested in helping me out with selecting a frame or anything she left me and went back to her desk, unlike her co-worker he helped his customer and gave him suggestions and asked him questions for what he was looking for.
I had my eyes dilated and needed that extra help and customer service, so instead of getting a pair of frames there...I decided to take my prescription and look elsewhere for new glasses.

Went to the office for my annual eye exam because I am diabetic. Was highly impressed with the doctors, the friendly staff,
Was impressed with their knowledge and their interest in me as a patient. Very thorough but in a friendly manner. Felt like one of their family more than just a client. That attitude was among the staff as well as the docs, an environment throughout the office. Very Glad to find them!
