Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha Cha classes, courses & private lessons offered 7 days a week. For new students with prior Salsa On 2 training, please attend a level 1 drop in on Tuesday or Thursday at 7pm, where we can evaluate your appropriate level. Alternatively, you may schedule a 1 hour private lesson at your convenience.

We are a family owned business ran by father and son, located in the historic Chicago neighborhood of Logan Square. We have been featured yearly in events such as Chicago SummerDance and the International Salsa Congress for the past 20 years.

Dance Academy of Salsa is a great place to learn to dance. The instructors are extremely talented and helpful to people of all ages and skill. I have been attending classes since January 2020 and I can confidently say that I have seen a tremendous improvement in my dancing abilities. I also appreciate the option for drop-in classes to accommodate anyone’s schedule. The private sessions are a fantastic way to get the instructor’s undivided attention to help polish up your moves. The overall upkeep and cleanliness of the studio is a definite 10/10. The welcoming atmosphere from both the patrons

I stumbled upon this gem of a studio in 2018 and was immediately excited and inspired to try private lessons with the goal of incorporating Latin dance into my current performance work. The one-on-one lessons are invaluable in terms of developing as a follower, but also in developing confidence, frame/line, and intentionality of movement that I'm sharing with others. I learned a lot in the 4week beginners salsa course, and now feel like I have the basics down which was my goal! The class has a good pace for beginners, Michael is detailed and patient teaching classes along with Cate. The studio is nice, clean, with awesome vibes. I had lots of fun meeting new people and definitely will be going back for the salsa drop in classes!! I definitely feel more confident stepping out in the club to dance 💃🏽 salsa!!! Yayyyy 🙌🏽
