Our party room is available for larger groups and offers closing doors for a more private setting. The room has tables that seat six and can be arranged in a variety of ways to accommodate your needs. The sound system in the room can be shut off for meetings or for a quieter setting. The room is offered to groups of 25 or more at no charge for the first 2 hrs when ordering meals or buffet.
We are an event caterer and specialize in wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, graduations, class reunions, concerts, or any event you want to make spectacular! Smokin' G's offers delicious BBQ, sides, desserts and drinks. Catering services can be simple and casual, such as box lunches or buffet drop off.

Kim and her team exceeded our expectations! They cared about our special events - rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. I couldn't have asked for anything more or different. The food was outstanding and left my guests talking about how great the food tasted. I had dinner there on Thursday before our events so I had their food three days in a row. My guests ate leftovers rather than taking anything else that was available for the remainder of the weekend. I highly recommend Smokin' G's to either stop in to eat or catered meals!

We drove from Madison Wisconsin to pick up a bike at Black Tire Bikes. Great old school downtown with amazing family owned restaurants. Keep this place on your radar! Great food, great people. Staff was very helpful and had amazing attitudes. We need more restaurants like this one.

The truck was at the South Skunk blues society blues festival in Newton this weekend and they were fantastic! i had the smoked philly cheese steak and cheesy potatoes brisket was amazing just on its own but the cheese sauce and the roll made it one of the top phillys i have had recently.. i love that kind of sandwich so.. i eat them alot.. cheesy potatoes i could have had three helpings by themselves.. VERY good.. wish i was closer

Not only was the food great here, but the price to portion ratio was very reasonable. I chose the pick three with the half smoked chicken, brisket, and the smoked bone-in pork chop. Everything was great including the appetizer we had of the nachos with sub of the sidewinder fries for the chips. The locals at our table said that the place is hit or miss, but on the day we went it was definitely a hit. Can't comment on any misses because I've only been there twice and the other time was many years ago. Not a bad experience at all, definitely worth checking out if you are in the area and

My job takes me all over the US; I was also born and raised in Virginia and currently reside in North Carolina. I'd like to think I know what good BBQ is, as I've had it all over the States and we Southerners just have it in our genes.
All that said, the brisket here has got to be some of the BEST brisket I've ever had... and that's saying a lot. It's seasoned right, smoked right and just falls apart in your mouth.
Do yourself a favor and swing in!

Great place in the downtown area, restaurant is pleasant decor with decent lighting and seating is good. Service has been excellent and the food well seasoned, smoked and presented on the plate. I opted for the 2 meat dinner pulled port and brisket and both were exceptional the brisket is thick sliced and has a great smoke ring. The pork os tender and pulled well, both meats cane un sauced, which allows me to slather on the sauce flavor as I like. Baked Beans come with some brisket mixed in, but the beans are a bit sweet. Both portions of meat were hefty and doubtful anyone would walk away

Ordered take out on a Friday night and everything was ready in time. My husband had the full rack of ribs and he had plenty for lunch the filling day. The ride were juicy and tender. His sides were beans which were tasty and Mac & cheese which was rather bland. I had the beef brisket & pulled pork sandwich, both meats were juicy and tender with just the right amount of smoked flavor. My sides were the tasty baked beans and average mashed potatoes ( was supposed to be potato casserole but oh well). Our daughter wanted cornbread muffins and green beans, they forgot to pack the green beans

Lunch today was outstanding! Teenage boys shared a generous platter of Piggyback Nachos. The homemade Tenderloin sandwich was fantastic. Our group also had the trio of sliders and a grilled cheese sandwich. We all were quite pleased with our selections. We had green beans, baked beans, applesauce and cheesy broccoli soup for sides...each was well seasoned and tasty. This is a downtown gem. The wait staff is friendly and attentive.

How was this place not packed at 4:00pm on a Saturday was beyond me!
Great service (thanks Ashley), clean atmosphere and OMG, the pulled pork sandwich was crazy! A mound of meat with your choice of regular, spicy bbq, or the Rattler sauce (mustard spice).
Good prices too. Thanks for the BBQ on our bike ride through town! Loved it!

The sides were delicious. The beer was cold. Unfortunately, the meat seemed to be of very low quality. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich. The menu shows a nice sandwich with strips of brisket with a nice pink smoke ring to it. I got a sandwich with lots of gristle on it and didn't seem to be very close to brisket. Very disappointing, considering everything else seemed to have gone well. My server was very attentive, however, and the cheesy potatoes had a proper ratio of cheese/potato. I feel like I came in on a bad day and will likely give this place another chance in the future

We are locals, that said, we have to limit our visits. The BBQ is the best. Seasoning is a personal thing, but we like Smoking G's over Jethro;s, Dave's, and some other places. The Ribs are meaty, and fall off the bone. I take mine naked, my wife with the house sauce. Both are great. Never been disappointed, by the brisket. We like the pulled pork,

Recently we took a group of thirty people here to eat. I'll say right up front it's not the best place I have been but it is darn good and we will be going back.
That was the consensus of all 30 people. We all want to come back here for our next meeting.
The food was hot and plentiful. I ordered a half-rack of ribs with the raspberry-chipotle sauce. The sauce was the weak point for me. Now this was just for my taste buds, others liked it. The ribs were tender and meaty and cooked just right. I tasted my wife's ribs with regular sauce and I think I would have enjoyed them more
