Donate to the Marty Doot Client Assistance Program and lessen the burden for those seeking hope, help and healing. As Illinois and Indiana start moving through phases of re-opening, we would like to keep you in the loop of our plans. We are currently in the process of adding all necessary safety measures to our offices in order for us to feel comfortable about inviting clients back.
Once these products are delivered and installed, we will finalize a date for a limited re-opening of the facilities. IN-PERSON APPOINTMENTS WILL BE AT THE DISCRETION OF YOUR PROVIDER. YOUR PROVIDER OR THE OFFICE STAFF WILL NOTIFY YOU WHEN THESE APPOINTMENTS BECOME AVAILABLE. Telehealth has been an amazing opportunity during these trying times and we encourage anyone who is currently looking to see a provider to consider this option.

In the late 1970's a group from the Christian community led by Dr. Martin Doot met to discuss what could be done about the problem of alcoholism and chemical dependency that was devastating many Chicago area families. An association called the Christian Care Center was formed to address this need. The association combined professional mental health treatment with caring pastoral insight.

Answer: If you feel unhappy, depressed, anxious or angry and nothing you have been doing on your own seems to bring any relief. Sometimes, when a major transition occurs in our lives, we feel as if we're "stuck" and we may need the input of an objective professional to help clarify where we are in our journey.
I returned to New Leaf because I felt I was at the end of my rope, emotionally, both with myself and with my daughter. Counseling has helped me learn the tools I need to effectively manage the stressors in my life. It has helped to normalize certain life situations, as well as work through the not-so-normal ones.

I have been coming here for a few years and I can honestly say I am glad I have. I work with Kass Cooper and she and I have been able to connect on a personal level, as well as work through the day to day issues. If you are struggling and need someone to talk to, please call New Leaf Resources. The counselors are friendly and knowledgeable about how to help, and the staff has always been friendly. I would recommend them to anyone struggling with life's issues.
