Dave and Jane, husband and wife, are the owners of Select Eyecare With over 50 years of combined optical experience, they offer expert eye care, extensive selection of eyewear and personalized customer service. David began his optical training at Anoka Technical College, graduating with a degree in Optical Technology.
At Select Eyecare, we perform comprehensive eye exams that not only but also evaluate the overall health of your eye. We can detect abnormalities in the structure and function of your eyes, thereby catching early warning signs of broader health issues as well as complications. Early detection can be the difference between manageable eye health and, in extreme circumstances, complete blindness.

Shere is such an amazing employee. Anytime I call or stop in, she provides the best customer service I've ever experienced! She goes out of her way for everyone. Tonight, I was trying to pick out new frames. I asked her if she'd give me her opinion, and she did graciously, and that is not the first time she has gone above and beyond to help a patient. The patient's that were there before me received the same excellence. There have been some changes in optometrists, but Shere is the only person who keeps me coming back! My first time here in 2020 was amazing. The male doctor (unsure of his name) was super professional, answered all my questions, was so kind. Today I went there and saw the female doctor (again unsure of name) and that was enough to make me not want to ever go back. My appointment was at 3:30. I got in right away. Great! The lady was super unprofessional looking, as she was wearing sweatpants, flip flops, and a baggy shirt. I'm not one to judge what you wear, but at work you should dress with some respect. I was explaining some symptoms I was having and she blew them off as allergies. Recommended

I've been going here for years. I love how the staff are behind the desk. They are so helpful friendly. My daughter has been doing a contact lens class to put them in and the lady is so nice. She really does her job great and likes it. I'm so pleased with the service. And the doctor is very nice has well. She explains everything about the appointment when you are there.

Came in here nervous, thinking can they really help me? Will they give me good advice? Will they be honest with me or just be a sales person pushing me to buy the high-end stuff so they can make a buck? This was DEFINITELY not the case SHERE' VOGELPOHL was the most magnificent woman you could ever meet! She was so helpful with everything! She went above and beyond to assist me with my needs and guide me to the right direction. She stayed after hours just to help me find the perfect glasses that fit me and I'm over the moon happy with what I got with her help! She also guided me to get this glare

After taking my 10 yr old to his check up she suggested that we have an eye exam done. Dr.Jean Layman at Select eye care got him in and sure enough he needed glasses. It only took a couple of days and we already got them back! My family will be returning to Select eye care for all our eye care needs!
