Acupuncture has been shown to stimulate the release of endorphins, the body's natural pain killers. I am extremely grateful for and honored to be working with the kind, supportive and knowledgeable staff both for acupuncture and the functional wellness program. Glad they were available and willing to offer me help in order to feel better and lose some weight along the way and thus I have chosen to work with them. I recently went for acupuncture treatment with Betsy, I was more than satisfied with my end results. When I think back to my first visit and how much discomfort I had in my body. Then to achieve feeling so much better and my pain issues are gone and without taking a med I could not ask for more. I am more than pleased with my outcome. Truthfully, it was out of sheer desperation that I reached out to Family Acupuncture & Wellness. Several months of severe hip pain had taken its toll. Traditional medical methods were unsuccessful. Always in extreme discomfort, I wasn’t sleeping, over the counter meds didn’t lessen the pain. Someone mentioned acupuncture and initially I balked at the idea. Hesitant, skeptical and somewhat fearful I finally gave in and made the call. LIFE CHANGING! After just a few treatments, I felt relief. I have complete trust in Family Acupuncture and Wellness, I have been going to them for many years and now live an hour and 20 minutes away. After trying an acupuncture practice close to my home, I did not get the results I have been accustomed to at Family Acupuncture.
I now travel the hour and 20 minute distance each way because their practice is worth my time.
I have seen them for weight loss, pain relief and general well being and have always have great results. I totally trust them!

System was down and I was told I would be called with my appt-never happened. The message therapy is fantastic and I highly recommend it. You can follow up with her directly to avoid the front desk which is a plus. Don’t post a marginal review because if you do you will be confronted in the office as I was to explain why? I was asked to talk about my review in the lobby and I asked if she wanted to talk right in the lobby and the reply was we could go in the office and talk—-so unprofessional. I spoke the truth in my review and was bullied for doing it—so much for family wellness.

I had the most incredible experience at Family Acupuncture & Wellness! I was fortunate to interact with many of the team members, all of whom as spectacular. I worked with Betsy the most, who is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. I started acupuncture to help with knee pain as well as fertility issues, both of which were resolved. In addition, I felt more relaxed and slept better while getting weekly treatments. The whole team has been very kind, courteous, and informative. My health coach is very involved and I’ve spoken with Adam more than I do my primary care already. I truly feel they want to help me heal my body from Hashimoto’s. I’m in the detox phase right now and I feel better than I have in a long time.

Originally I went to Family Acupuncture & Wellness for help with sleep issues. They helped with that and much much more! First let me say that the massage therapist who works here is wonderful. But what really prompts me to write this review is their rapid weight-loss program. If you're contemplating it, I suggest you educate yourself on the risks of rapid weight loss, including the formation of gallstones and the slowdown of your metabolism, leading to greater weight gain in the future. The testimonials on the website were recorded by people shortly after completing the program. Who wouldn't be happy with losing 30 - 40 pounds in a couple of months? The fallout comes later.

I've been a patient of Adam, Betsy, and Amy (their in-house massage therapist) for over a decade now. They run one of the most professional acupuncture practices I've ever seen (I've been to a bunch). Everyone in the practice is professional and easy to communicate with. They don't push services or products beyond simple suggestions of other things to try. If you are new to TCM, you could not choose a better place to start. Highly educated and patient practitioners.

Not only do they just toss needles in the trash, they have the staff remove needles incorrectly (who just finished picking their nose at the front desk!) Staff also just throw together your herbal "prescription". They keep no patient records in accordance with the standards set by the New Hampshire board of acupuncture licensing. They make false claims to patients (but try to cover their own a** in the roundabout way they state them.) They allowed their staff or their own children roam around the practice. You

I'd been thinking of acupuncture for a really long time, as nothing else seemed to be working to relieve my chronic back pain. Adam met with me for nearly an hour to go over my medical history, asking very specific questions about my past, my pain levels, and so on. I've been to two sessions so far, and the pain in my neck has decreased significantly. I can turn it side to side without pain for the first time in half a decade! I'm looking forward to my next few sessions to see what else acupuncture has in store for me. I'm so thankful that Adam is so good at what he does!

I have been curious about acupuncture for a long time, especially after hearing great results from friends who practice it. So when I recently pulled a muscle in my back, pretty much debilitating me, I thought this is the perfect ailment to try out the ancient art of acupuncture on.
I did do some research on the steps that Western Medicine would take me through to relieve my back pain, which were bed rest, pain killers, physical therapy, and finally surgery. No, thank you, Mam! I knew a more holistic route was for me.
