As a first-time homeowner new to Kyle, I was worried about finding a reputable (and available) garage door service professional. Matamoros Garage Doors was the first and only company I called based on Google reviews, and I'm relieved to say that we were not disappointed!
Gilbert was accommodating to our emergency, and fit us into hisschedule for a repair. He arrived early for our repair appointment and was done quickly but addressed all the immediate needs. Transparent about costs for now, and potential needs for future replacement. Highly recommend!

Gilbert! Our hero! Our garage doors started acting wonky as soon as we took possession of the house 3 months ago, We had to allot an extra 5 minutes just to get out of the driveway. Anyway, we called; Gilbert answered the phone himself and since he was "in the neighborhood" was at our house in a jiffy. He assessed the problem quickly, laid out repair scenarios, answered our questions and was back the next day with new parts and began work. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Gilbert communicated flawlessly his time of arrival and what he did, but also went above and beyond with his friendly and professional approach to clients. I called for a tension spring breaking issue, and ended up needing that AND the garage door opener itself replaced. Gilbert gave me fair pricing on both repairs, knowledge of how to maintain my garage door as a whole, but even followed all COVID safety protocols.

Gilbert Matamoros is honest , professional and does the job for a fair price. I will never use anyone else. Gilbert has installed our new Garage door openers, they work perfectly. He replace the springs on our doors, they work like they should now. All I can say is if you want outstanding service, fast, reliable then call Gilbert.

If you call Gilbert, he will appear personally to do the work. If you call a larger company with multiple employees, it's hard to say what level of experience you may get with the person who shows up at your door. Above and beyond anything else, this is a good reason to try Gilbert since he has many years of experience.
He came within one day of contact with all the necessary parts to replace broken springs after sending some photos and basic measurements. I didn't bother price shopping as the quote seemed quite reasonable for all the parts and labor. Everything works great--highly

After a little OOPS we needed a new garage door right away! I called Matamoros Garage Doors and Gilbert answered the phone on the first ring. Summary: 48 hours later I have a brand new garage door fully installed. Gilbert was professional, courteous, prompt, reasonably priced and we are so grateful to have him as a resource in our community. YAY!

The spring on my garage door snapped last night and I was unable to lift the heavy door by myself. Of course, my car was inside and I have to work in the morning!
I called Gilbert and he got me in first thing so I wasn't late to work!! He was so friendly and helpful!! The repair was reasonably priced and he even got here early so I wouldn't be late for work!! If you need garage help call Gilbert at Matamoros Doors!!

I got impatient with my garage door opener on the way to my birthday dinner...and broke it. I called at almost 8:30pm on a Friday night and thankfully, Gilbert answered. Though understandably, he couldn't be there that night, he listened to what had happened, explained to me what it could be and told me he would be at my house bright and early in the morning...and stopped by my house at 7am on a Saturday! He and his wife were prompt (5 minutes early), polite, friendly, professional and honest

I highly recommend them. I felt I had an honest review of what work was required to fix my garage door issues. It was all explained to me how everything mechanical works and that gave me good vibes about them, so I had them come out shortly thereafter and fix/install what was needed.
