WEOKIE is the first financial institution in Oklahoma to announce a drastic lowering of overdraft and NSF charges. Nationwide, more than 80% of overdraft fees are paid by families living paycheck to paycheck, which is why reducing these fees will help our members from falling further behind. WE are here for you.
WEOKIE Federal Credit Union was first established in 1969 by the employees of the Western Electric Plant in Oklahoma City to provide financial services and security to workers and their families. Now, more than 50 years later, we've grown to become one of the largest financial institutions in Oklahoma, offering the best credit union services to Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas.

As we look to the future, and our next stage of growth, it is important to remember what first inspired WEOKIE. Consumers who were "left behind" by traditional for-profit financial institutions created credit unions by pooling their resources with the goal of providing each other with credit for economical purposes and a safe place to save for the future.

Almost every Friday I have financial transactions. Regardless if it’s small and/or large tgevstaff continuously treats me with the same service with a smile. Kind, courteous, and professionalism that is second to none. This Friday, Nov. 19th 2021 I was again not disappointed with my interaction with Weokie representative ‘Ms. Claire R.’
She exemplified the standard that has come to be expected.
Great Job Team Weokie!!!

After leaving my first review the President of Weokie Jeff Carpenter sat down with us and did everything possible to work with us and correct everything. Due to him taking his personal time and making things right I have changed my review. I can tell he really cared about what happened with us and his company.

It started out great when I first joined 10 years ago, however, since the "upgrade" everything has gone downhill fast! I used to be able to call and get an answer right away. Now there's at least 20 minutes hold time if you even get through without a hang up. Once you get to someone they're rude, hateful and condescending. Also...you can ask 5 different employees the same question and get different answers from each. They also don't know their own funds availability policy. Sets expectations that can't be met. If you aren't sure you cant back your

They have consistently gone down hill. My mother banked with them for 40+ years and they just randomly closed her credit card with them for no reason. I had my own issues with them but she has always had good experiences and I am offended they treated her this way after decades of loyal business she gave them.

I have banked with Weokie for years. I have never once had a good customer service experience. The tellers are fine, but calling into the bank for questions or assistance is a nightmare and has been a miserable experience every single time. I haven't been able to close my account because I had an auto loan through the bank. Now that note is paid off, I'll be closing my account.

Hateful customer service. I went to open an account with them, and no one was ever friendly; neither the lady at the lobby, the clerk in the second floor, or the accounts-clerk. No one in the staff ever showed any concern in my interest in opening an account with them. It seem they were not interested in using my money. Not only, they lack of customer service, but they also lack of personality. This is just a state-local bank, can't ever grow with the negative attitude they have towards their new customers.

Here is the thing if someone is agreeing to give you money that not only helps your company and insures that you still have a job to come to, it would behoove you to at least try to be cordial with your potential new membership. Smile, make conversation, treat the people you are helping as if they have a pulse. I shouldn't have to extend my hand for a handshake; it should have been offered by them upon first meeting with your loan officers. At this location, the loan offices are open small cubicles, so everyone can hear everyone's else conversation. This makes me not want to bring up
