I was in a bind to find a new apartment as my current lease was coming to an end in a few weeks, so it was very stressful..
Monica, the leasing agent, made my experience so easy and exciting and eliminated that stress: she knew all the specifics of the rooms we were considering (and there are a lot of different layouts!) and listed out all the pros and cons with us- until we ultimately chose the perfect apartment!
(You could tell she’s beloved by the amount of peek- in hellos ((especially by dogs and their owners)) she got while in her office).
Monica hosted an end of the year doggie pool

As a vendor, we always enjoy working with the Property Management and Service teams. They are very helpful, organized and professional. It's clear they care deeply about keeping a great environment and taking care of residents.

We’ve lived here for almost 3 years and love it! We recently moved into a larger unit and the leasing consultant, Monica, couldn’t have made it any easier. She’s super friendly, helpful, and gave us great advice on moving logistics. In the past, the biggest problem at Modera has been the lack of communication and transparency. The property manager is unresponsive and often uninterested, but Monica has totally changed that. She makes it a priority to try and know all of the residents and keep the community areas in great shape. While there are still leasing decisions that are often out of

Just moved here in July and love it! The property is well kept, maintenance is great, and the office staff are great! I highly recommend speaking with the leasing consultant, Monica. She is awesome!! She definitely makes the residents at Modera her top priority and she is always so friendly when I pass the main entrance. I love it here!

Our experience so far has been amazing with the modera Medford community. We love staying at modera. While moving in, the leasing agent Monica was super helpful and kind. She showed us all the different layouts very willingly and was kind enough to answer all our questions. Even after we have moved in, she’s always there to answer any questions. All the other staff members Anthony and Ramel are super nice. I would highly recommend this community to anyone planning to stay in Medford.

This is a nice building to live in however it could use some more upkeep inside.
The building is not clean and the pet smell is overwhelming. Anthony the property manager is very professional but the same thing cannot be said about the rest of the team. The other leasing consultant Monica appears to be very unfocused and extremely nosy; the glass doors of the office are always locked when she is sitting down. It feels like she is running a babysitting service inside that office. There are always some young girls either sitting at her desk or running around in there. Very unprofessional atmosphere

Here's the truth about living at Modera.. I'm baffled by the 1 star reviews. There is nothing that warrants 1 star. I will give a reason for each star I give. 1) the amazing staff. I LOVE Monica and Rammel. They are kind, helpful, and welcoming. Plus the maintenance team are so nice and helpful too. 2) The location is the best you can find. I lived in the North End and never thought I'd like outside the city. The walking path feels like a vacation walk. 3) The people who live here that aren't giving 1 stars are so fun! We all hang out. It feels like adult college but mature 4) SAFE. I have lived

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Terrible signing experience. I am a graduate student just move to Boston. I went to tour the apartment the first day and everything was fine. I was told multiple parking is allowed and parking is free. I started the application that afternoon and was declined by the credit check when I have a 790+ score. They were accusing me putting the wrong thing on the application. When I asked them to point out which part I put wrong they can't say anything. I was asked to provide a bank statement with three times the "yearly rent" where investment account does not count at first which

I really like this apartment complex. Dog friendly and dog community is great!
Monica is the person you want to speak with. She will get/ do everything in her power to get you settled. She goes out of her way to help whoever it is even when she doesnt really have the time.
I havent used maintenance but maybe once they showed up and helped me out.
Yes sometimes the office gets busy but the moment I’ve gone down there tracking Anthony down the situation was resolved. I feel very safe here especially when walking my dog in the early am or late at night.
The pool could use some cleaning but the

Fire alarms: yes they went off in the first 2 weeks when I first moved in late at night but they were during times of emergencies from what I heard. So you can't get upset with that. Sometimes it's hard to get a hold of Anthony but the moment I show up at his office following up he's taking care

Do you know why this complex has such a low rating? It's because it's true. Don't move here if you can avoid it. The floors/ceilings are super thin, so much turnover on the leasing staff, absolutely zero communication from the property group (Mill Creek), and have I mentioned the fire alarms? I don't need to, because almost every other review mentions them too. The only silver lining to this place is the fantastic maintenance staff. Think the amenities are worth moving in? They're not because they're not open, even well after they're allowed to according to the

I moved in a few months ago. I have written to the office twice, maintenance twice and finally some one in corporate office. I've never once heard any response. None of the amenities are open and there has been zero communication. I woke up one morning to brown water, and still, no response. Very disappointed, it's a lot of money for a tiny apartment.

This may be a beautiful property in front of the Malden River; however, it truly lacks great customer service from the first time you call. During times like now, when calling a property to inquire about an apartment especially if you are willing to spend the money, it is highly important the person on the other side keeps a professional conversation with you, he/she needs to be knowledgeable about the property, units and amenities and furthermore show some interest in leasing you the unit.
It is very disappointing some employees are unable to provide great customer service here. We are no longer

Current occupant AVOID Ashley Gahn like you avoid Covid-19 or the plague. She'll cost you money. Not worth the nice finishes when there's literally 6 places down the street at the same cost. Ignorant and incompetent boston property manager to the max. Ruined the whole experience of living here. Oh and there not smart enough to figure out how to silence the fire alarm that loves to go off at 1am in the middle of the week every now and then. Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I've lived in Modera for about a year now, and I love living here. There's so many wonderful amenities: pool, communal grills, turf area, kayaks and bikes, rooftop deck, game rooms, that are all well taken care of. Our unit is great, and the community is extremely friendly, with young professionals and families living together. I have no poor feedback for Modera, and the previous issue of fire alarms hasn't been an issue for us.

I've lived here since the building's opening and have been incredibly happy with both the building and staff. The leasing consultant Katie has truly been a pleasure to work with and I look forward to the conversations we have every time I'm in the office. She goes above and beyond for the residents daily. Would highly recommend!

We toured about 2 months ago and were skeptical at first as the initial customer service was not that great. The person who showed us the apartment was not enthusiastic at all and acted like we were an inconvenience when we showed up for our scheduled appointment. We were excited when we came in but left feeling unsure. However the property was so nice we decided to go ahead and apply for an apartment anyways and take the risk.

We've been here for less than a week and have had a wonderful experience. Katie took care of us when we showed up to move in and has made the process so smooth and

I toured Modera this past weekend. When I got a call back from the leasing agent she was curt and didn't seem very friendly. When I arrived to view the property it was the same young woman on the phone, and wasn't much friendlier in person. She simply asked me for my ID, and verified on her computer screen what floor layout I was interested in without any additional questioning, what I was looking for, or offering any other options. Every other tour I've ever been on, the leasing agents print out copies of the floor plans, including pricing on them, usually a map of the property

This review is mostly about the move in process. I worked mainly with Lauren but everyone in the office was very nice! I was doing a cross country move so couldn't be here to see the exact unit but the office sent me pictures of it and took measurements for me. They responded in a timely manner and were friendly. (although I think one of their email addresses doesn't work). my apartment was in good condition when I moved in... I needed a few things fixed and maintenance took care of them right away. So far I'm very happy I chose Modera Medford!

Moved in about a month ago and although the amenities, location and apartment itself have been great (garage parking, free kayak rental, 24/7 gym, pool, etc.), the customer service has been horrendous. The front office rarely, if ever, responds to email questions or requests and if you ask something of them, its seems to be a big inconvenience.

I am pretty disappointed with the service considering rent is $2400/month for a 1 bedroom. I've experienced much better customer service at other apartments around the area (Medford and Cambridge) and highly recommend those. As other reviews have

I am finally moving out this month!!! THis has been a horrible experience. The apartment is in the back and even if there is a balcony, there's nothing to look at out back. Secondly, they advertise close to Coolidge corner!!! That's a fabrication. There's no store, you can't even walk out the door to get a paper or cup of coffee. Being in the back, gets no light - felt like I was living in a cave!!! Maintenance was sometimes good, sometimes bad!! The worst offense to me is no microwave installed in kitchens - every apartment I've seen has a built in microwave.

We have lived here for 5 months, and the fire alarms literally go off about 2 times per week! Sometimes it's in the middle of the night. Sometimes it's on a Sunday morning, when it's 15 degrees outside. Sometimes it's when we're at work, but we can tell because our cat is traumatized and hiding under the bed when we get home. We've complained to no avail, and frankly, it's been an embarrassment that after 5 months, this brand new building can't figure out this one HUGE problem. The gym is great, the lounge is awesome, the apartments are beautiful, but just

Really don't enjoy the smoke/smell of my neighbors cigarettes coming in to my apartment window. Fire alarms going off CONSTANTLY have been horrible with a dog. No cell service in the building so I can't work from home, not to mention the Comcast seems to be down a lot recently. The walls are paper thin and I can hear the neighbors above us walking around when trying to sleep.
Also, when we moved in we ended up with a toilet that had rust in the bottom of the bowl that we can't get rid off. How did that happen to a new toilet?!
The girls in the office look miserable all the time

This is a pretty new building as of this posting so the interior and exterior of the building has a good look. The shared areas seem well maintained and are cleaned regularly which is a positive.

It can however get somewhat noisy. You'll easily be able to hear your upstairs neighbor at all hours...which gets particularly annoying past quiet hours.

The worse customer service ever!
I and my wife came here for apartment hunting one or two month ago. We came into the buildin and saw two representatives sitting in their office. We went into the office and stand in front of one of the tables. They didn't even bother to say hi. Letting us to standing there for a little while and Lauren, the receptionist finally asked us May I help you? And we told her we r looking for new apartment for November and what the type of apartment we are interested in Then, she check her computer, and told us: Oh, right now we r looking for August and September

I just moved in today and while I love the location and the apartment itself. It came super extremely dirty. I signed the lease over a month ago and I am the first one to move in. Upon moving in, I see scuffs on the floors dirt on the carpet. I called the front office to tell them my displeasure, but really the only feedback I got was someone will come take care of it. I am not too satisfied for the service here so far, and I hope they will come fix it. This was not a great moving experience compared to other places I've moved to in the Boston Area.
