I've been a tenant of J Malden Center for almost a year now. First lease renewal offer was handed to me with a $500/month increase in rent or a 60 day notice to vacate...exactly 60 days from the end of my lease, giving me no fair amount of time to investigate other options in the area after learning the new price, which includes the sharpest rent increase I've ever had, including the time I lived in Boston proper. Extremely skeevy business practice.

The building itself, the maintenance staff and the leasing office staff are all very nice. We were the first tenant of the unit, and there had been some small new unit problem. The maintenance staff had been super helpful every time. When our first water bill came in super high, the leasing office helped address it quickly. Most recently, the staff organized a squid game themed event and we had a lot of fun!

Love this apartment! Great location, super easy to access to all public transportation. Have a Yoga store, a wine store, and a new bakery store on the first floor. We enjoy spending time with our friends in the club room which has a large space for outdoor activities. Also, the staff works well and easy to contact. They always offer help very immediately.

We have loved our experience at J Malden from the moment we moved in. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The property is extremely clean, including all the amenity spaces. We have been loving the outdoor space, especially as the weather is getting nicer. My favorite place to have a glass of wine is on the rooftop! I highly recommend J Malden.

Best place I've ever lived in. Very new building, so no bugs, mold, pests, or other things old buildings have. Things look fresh and new. Walls are not too thin. The gym is great and amenities area wows people. Best of all, most other folks are grad students or working, so very little chatter from parties or loud neighbors. I'm very happy here.

I have lived here for approximately 4 months and love everything about it. The amenities are great and very convenient, the orange line is across the street. The property is well taken care of and the people that live here are extremely friendly. Management and staff have been great! Everyone does an amazing job. Even with the pandemic, management has has handled and managed the property extremely well!

My apartment is amazing, I fell in love with it since the moment I walked in for the first time. Modern design, top notch appliances, energy saving and recycling systems. The amenities are awesome. There are a lot of fun things to do, considering the quarantine restrictions. Everyone from the management team is nice and professional. Special thanks to Jane, she helped with everything needed to make the moving and accommodation process easier.

Have lived in a number of apartment buildings over the last 10 years and this is my favorite. The building is brand new, location is great and the amenities are as good as you'll find - check out the pics of the pool as well as the rest of the common space with pool table and ping pong. Also have to give a shout out to the leasing staff who are terrific: Jane, Jonathan, Dillon, and Adrienne are so easy to deal with and help make this a great place to live, also Mike in maintenance is a great dude. Can't recommend this place strongly enough!
