A: In order to prevent dental problems, your child should see a pediatric dentist when the first tooth appears, or no later than his/her first birthday. A: Pediatric dentists are the pediatricians of dentistry. A pediatric dentist has two to three years specialty training following dental school and limits his/her practice to treating children only.
Braces are an orthodontic treatment that straighten or move teeth to improve the appearance of the teeth and how they work. Braces can also help the long-term health of your teeth, gums and jaw joints by spreading biting pressure over all your teeth. Traditional braces are comprised of metal brackets that are affixed to teeth and wires that are threaded through slots in the brackets.

This place has gone downhill since they no longer have Dr. Lela and Dr. Geeta. The last time I went, they wanted to charge me $80 to pull a tooth that the dentist firmly stated would not fall out on its own. I elected not to have the procedure done and the tooth fell out by itself the next day. The dentist also wanted to crown a baby tooth, which was determined by another dentist to be completely unnecessary. Unfortunately they seem to be in the business of scamming patients now. I will not go back.
