Josh's Auto Body was started in 1977 by the current owner and operator E.C. (Josh) Mounger. Josh's Auto Body was completely remodeled and expanded in 1998 to include 18 state of the art bays and 18,000 Sq. Ft. of fenced and digitally monitored outdoor storage parking. Since 1977, Josh's Auto Body has been offering superior service for a wide range of collision repair needs.

This is the best, hometown body shop that I know. These could be the “last of the good guys of body work!!” They are fast, dependable, fair, and priced right. After backing out of a parking space, I tore my driver’s side mirror clean off my car. I took my vehicle to Josh’s Auto Body, and they were able to order the part and get it fixed in the span of two days. Everyone there was very friendly and made sure to explain everything to me. Since I’m a young woman, typically I only go to auto shops with my stepdad since mechanics can have a bad rep for taking advantage of naivety. This was not a problem here at all, and I felt very comfortable being there alone. Although this happened months ago, I still wanted to leave a review in case anyone else

My 2018 Fusion driver's door and fender were backed into and dented. I went to three franchise body shops and found it was a two week wait just to get an estimate. My schoolteacher daughter said she'd heard good things about Josh's Auto Body. I went over, they took photos and had everything worked out with the insurance company within a week. When I brought it in for the work they said it normally takes 5 to 7 days to get the car back...I got the car back in 3. The work was excellent, the car was cleaned inside and out, and I was treated by all as a valued customer. I highly recommend Josh's Auto

Such wonderful kind people. I dropped in to get a quote to fix my bumper and they just fixed it right then while I went to lunch and they didn’t even charge me. Now I don’t expect every repair to be free but it just shows how kind they are. Caliber Collision quoted me $400. It was such a pleasure paying them in Emporium Pie and a gift card from The Yard 😁. Love these guys!

These guys are awesome! My truck was damaged by a vendor putting on a new bumper. I got referred to them and took it in one day. Dropped it off the next as I had to have it ready for a trip. It was completed as they said it would be and looks great!!!! I hope I don’t need them again but if I do they have a customer for life. They even had it cleaned.

We will come back here for any future needs- we are so thankful for how well we were taken care of. We were nervous about the cost of repairing a broken side mirror and ripped fender, so we put off seeing anyone. Wish we wouldn’t have! Corey got us fixed up in the matter of an hour and helped us find the most cost effective way to make the car look great again. They were honest, quick, and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

My dark grey 04 Corvette convertible had a crack/hole in the drivers side rear rocker panel. They were able to patch and repaint as opposed to ordering a new panel from G.M. which would have cost almost twice the cost as the repair that they were able to make. They did a fantastic job (paint matched perfectly) and I was unable to tell even close up that the panel had been patched , sanded and repainted.

Best experience ever! I was very upset when a lady hit me and messed up the whole passenger side of my car that doors were leaking when is rained. Cory took very good care of me, I went to other places but when I received the best customer service from Cory I knew this was the place I wanted to use. They did an amazing job on my car and made my car look brand new! I could not have been happier!

While having my seat repaired next door at Arnold's Upholstery Repair, I told him about a scratch I had on the side of my door. Some idiot keyed the side of my car. We walked over to Josh's Auto Body and asked if he could take a look at it while my car was at Arnold's. When I picked up my car the scratch was gone! All the scratches were gone! I asked how much he wanted and to my surprise, he said there was no charge. Amazing. I did not expect to get the scratches removed for free and I bet they don't make a habit of it. After finally getting fed up with the local Dealer's Service Center I was looking for another body shop here in McKinney. After reading all the great reviews for Josh's Auto Body I'd give them a try. I parked my car too close to the curb, I put it on reserve, and accidently ripped the front bumper out. I called Josh's Body Shop and brought my vehicle in that day. Met Cory at the front desk, he take a look at it and said he will take care of it. When he was done, I was waiting and ready to pay for the fast and incredible job he has done. He told me, is alright, only a couple of minutes of work, and tell me don't worry about it. I highly recommend Josh's Body Shop, as they are very good at what they do, honest, and super friendly.
