My name is Steven Bishop and as a Certified Professional Inspector, trained by Internachi - The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors - I have the knowledge to spot problems with materials, installation and workmanship that other inspectors might miss. I follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice, which ensures that you receive a detailed and accurate home inspection.
We care about the quality of water that you use in your home, therefore, we conduct accurate tests that highlight the quality of the water. We have the right tools and equipment to check the air quality of your house. We test for Formaldehyde, Total Volatile Organic Compounds, atmospheric particulate matter 1.0, 2.5, and 10.0.
We, at Northeast Home Inspections, provide professional and accurate home inspection services. We are well trained, experienced and knowledgeable. We are InterNACHI certified and follow comprehensive standards of practice and abide by strict code of ethics. We have invested in modern technology and equipment so as to be able to identify issues accurately and detect presence of harmful substances.
At Northeast Home Inspections, we care about the quality of water that you use in your home. That is why we have partnered with A & L Labs in Auburn, ME. The water that comes out of the taps at your home is not necessarily safe for drinking. There are many substances present in the water that pose a threat to the health of you and your family members.

I was worried about some work a contractor had done to reroof my addition. He identified some problems and talked about them with the contractor. After the fix was completed and because of a growing list of problems with work done in my bathroom and doors and trim, I reached out and explained my nervousness over the roof valleys and the repair and he went beyond expectations to help. I highly recommend them.

What a great inspector. Easy to deal with and very knowledgeable. I looked it up online and the average inspection takes between 2-3 hours. He spent 5 hours at the home that my wife and I ended up buying. He alleviated all of our concerns and best of all I had the finished written report that night. But the best thing of all is that he said as long as we own the home, he considers us his customers and that we should contact him if we ever have any questions, even if its years into the future. Couldn't ask for a better inspector!
